"This company has not "turned things around" and is up to its old ripoff tricks--they took my money immediately when I ordered, then NEVER shipped the product. I sent three friendly e-mails to their customer service address over the course of 2 months and never got ONE reply. Avoid being tempted by their deals--just imagine paying that great price for the product you want and getting NOTHING...then seeing that product advertised by them again. (If you do order from them, use a credit card ONLY, not PayPal, because you can at least dispute the charge when they rip you off, then get your money back from your credit card company--PayPal will not do that for you)"

"That's hilarious! I buy from them regularly and people on here whining about their customer service? The lady about "not getting a ukelele and a bugle"...what meds is she on? GoingToday is a great site and they have always been very nice to me. Too bad people don't take the time to write/review nice things about them or anybody for that matter on this site! All you have to do is email them and someone gets back to you in less than 24 hours. Try it! Try contacting them first you will see how great they are!"

"I ordeded a ukelele and a bugel and never received either item. They took the money and I have not gotten anything except the bill. When I emailed them to ask about the item they were quick to respond and now that I have a problem it is like I don't exist."

"My son wanted a didgeridoo and goingtoday.com had one for $19.99. Using his own money, he bought it on June 6th. Paypal charged us on their behalf almost immediately and I received an email with a promise that it would arrive within 3-7 days. When we didn't receive it by day 9, I send an online communication using their "Contact Us" fillable form. The form promised to get back to me within 2 business days. Three days later, with no response and no package, I tried again. Still no response. I called the phone number on the receipt and got a poorly recording message. I left a message. No response. I tried calling and emailing a few more times. No response. My son was heartbroken. I called paypal to open a dispute and hopefully get a refund. This website is a bunch of crooks!! Do not use it. I will be reporting them to the BBB and will aggressively spread the news that this site is crooked! It is now day 16 and no package."

"goingTODAY are theives. They engage in fraudulent practices by charging your card for an order without shipping it and communicating to the customer about the failure of shipping it. I wasted my money and time trying to contact them for weeks about my shipment. If it was not for Paypal, I would not have received my refund (They never even responded to my case claim on Paypal). The next step is to contact the FTC and report them. If I had the time, I would litigate against them and put them in their place. Don't risk having your money stolen by these crooks. I hope they have what's coming to them!"

"Like most here, a crappy experience from goingtoday.

Ordered 5 sets of Martin guitar stings on Jan 30, they immediately billed Paypal and sent a confirmation of the transaction, to be delivered in 3-7 business days.

3 weeks later, no strings, sent them an email, no reply. Several days later, another email, no reply.

Only after I filed a dispute with Paypal did they send an email and mail the strings. Got them today, 5 sets of guitar strings stuffed in an envelope. Strings are coiled in sets, no packaging from Martin, no individual sleeves for each string, no proof they are even Martin strings.

I have never bought a set of Martin strings without a proper package and each string separately sleeved, who knows what crap they actually sent me.

Needless to say, I'll never do business with these people again.

"Orderes a wooden guitar stand from this site on Nov 18. It is Dec 6th ans still no stand. Email twice with the only acknowledgment being an auto-generated confirmation of receipt. Made no delay in taking my $$$ but don't give a S@!T about customer service! I opened a dispute via PayPal now I just have to wait and see what happens.. "

"AVOID THIS SELLER LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Send wrong item. Never sent right item. Paypal refused claim because he (Matt Wright owner) send them a delivery confirmation USPS notice. True enough, but for the wrong item. Never responded to emails. NO ETHICS. I hope he fails.

"I ordered 10 sets of Martin acoustic strings. After over 2 weeks I sent an email, no response. I sent a second email, no response.
I opened a PayPal clain on March 23rd and sent contact through PayPal to the merchant. Got a refund to my PayPal account on March 25th. There was a little comment with the refund saying "sorry for the trouble", still no email contact from them.
I will never buy from them again and if you do be prepared for the possibility of a claim or credit card chargeback to get your money.

"I found goingtoday.com to be exceptional in every area except, perhaps communication. For the great price I got my item for, however, I can forgive them for that.

I got an amp that sells everywhere for $530 for the amazing price of $269, which included the shipping! And it came quickly too. And arrived in perfect condition.

Now, it's true that from the moment I paid until it arrived, I could not get a response from them about shipping arrangements, tracking numbers, simple stuff like that. But, before I even had the time to worry about it, the damn thing showed up at my door!

Allow me to add, however, that when I emailed them after-the-fact for a copy of the invoice (which I had misplaced) that email was responded to within one day, and the invoice copy was attached. No problem.

So, if you want hand-holding customer service, this may not be the place for you to buy. But if you want great prices, quick delivery, and the item exactly as described, then take the plunge. I will be buying from them again. I just won't bother them with a bunch of pointless questions in the future...
