"I normally never leave a review about anything but when I was considering shopping at girlmerry I noticed there weren't very many reviews so I hope to be able to help another customer with their decision to purchase from GM.

Firstly, shipping was super fast, I got my order within a week or even less than that. Everything came nicely packaged and organised. I didn't end up liking some of the items (I will get to that in the next paragraph) so I reached out to initiate a return. I had read that in the past it was very expensive and inconvenient to return things so I was worried but once I reached out to them, they gave me a US address and instructions on how to return. It cost about $9 with usps to return and I got the money back for all my items within a day of them receiving the items. Lastly, communicating with them is super easy and they get back to you really fast too.

Now as for the negatives, as I mentioned before, I returned some items. I would advice anyone shopping on GM to look very very closely at the pictures of the items on the mannequin. Forget about the picture of it on the models. 90% of the time, the item will look nothing like that, and even if it looks the same, the fit will be totally different (this is especially true for jeans on GM). In some cases, even the color is slightly off. However, the mannequin is a direct visual of what the actual item will look like. So if it sits on the mannequin funny, don't ignore that, because it will look funny in person too! The material information is also very vague and so things might end up feeling differently from how you expected it to, if you're worried about an item, I advice you to reach out and ask about it. Some of the items I received also had some quality defects and instead of sending me another one, I was told to just cut the parts that were sticking out and use it like that. It didn't really change the item so I went ahead to but that was annoying. Some of the items also smelled off but that was for only one item out of the entire batch so that wasn't too bad either. While the pricing for a lot of the items is very reasonable and affordable, know that shipping will always be high because it's traveling a great distance so think about that when purchasing because you cannot get a refund on the shipping. Also, note that items that come in multiple colours might vary in composition. For example, I bought an item in black and also in mustard and the strings on the black one were made of an entirely different material and were much longer than the mustard one and worse, the fit was entirely different, while the mustard ran small, the black was true to size. So again, look very carefully at the mannequin pictures and ask questions to avoid wasting time and money only to be disappointed in the end.

I would shop again at GM in the future if I really wanted to but I know I will be extremely cautious because I ended up disliking 80% of the stuff I bought but really loving the stuff I ended up keeping. So it is definitely hit or miss but you can minimise this by being cautious. Worst case scenario? Just return them! "
