I ordered a product that was "in stock" and it took nearly three weeks to get it, only after I sent a follow-up email asking about its status. No communication at all from the beginning of the transaction. Then after a poor review, I was asked to revise my comments so that their customer support could fix the problem by finding a different product for me. Again no response from them for nearly 1 month, and only after I contact them again to get info, do I find that they cannot assist. With the amount of companies out there, and competitive pricing all over, you are better off taking your business elsewhere. No refund was given at anytime, otherwise, it would have changed my opinion, and I don't expect them to build anything, but I would like to know why they cant find the drive, as it is listed in stock on their own website. I don't like to have to haggle with stores when I am giving them my business. While on the phone, I did place the order. I was told that "we could not find the item you ordered" and they continued to look.

I find it strange a company can verify they have three in stock, only to not know where they are. Many companies that do this actually drop-ship from the manufactruer. In this case, the company did not know the item had been discontinued, and no more were available from the manufacturer.

They did issue a refund, but I was not able to get the item I was assured was actually in stock when I called."

"I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and was looking for a merchant that sold HP LCD monitors. Etech4sale was local, AND had the best price for my monitor on Pricegrabber.

Their web site is well-done, with up-to-date information on the number of units available in the warehouses across the US. The checkout process was easy, and I could use Paypal without having to reveal my address or credit card details.

I placed the order on a Sunday, mentioning that I will pick up the monitor myself. Etech4sale called me to confirm the order on Monday, and on Tuesday I got a call that the monitor was ready for pickup at their small store in Santa Clara.

I drove there and picked it up without any frills. Signed the paper and was out with it in under 2 minutes.

That's where the good experience STOPPED, however.

The monitor had a manufacturer defect, confirmed on HP's forum. On April 17, I put in an RMA request via the web site. No reply from etech4sale within a few days, so I called their toll-free number and kindly asked for an update - via their voicemail. There was no customer representative to take my call.

Today, One week later, no update. I called their local phone number, got the voice mail again."
