Order shipped on time. Got Tracking # on the 2nd day of transaction. I think majority of negatives comes when people don't check availability. You have to call or e-mail first. Don't just rely on web page and avoid buying on holidays."
"Pretty disappointed with these guys, and won't order from them again. I had placed an order with KnowledgeMicro for a digital flat panel monitor, and they were good enough to inform me they were out of stock and ask if I wanted to wait. I checked pricewatch and noticed that Esystor still had them listed as in stock, so I cancelled the KnowledgeMicro order and went with Esystor on 12/10. Then I hear back from them that despite what their web site says, they're out of stock as well. I point out *twice* that their web site says that the monitor is in stock, and they finally add a line that says "ETA 12/20" but leave the page saying "In Stock: YES"
But I ask and they say that a 12/20 shipment would still reach me before Christmas, so I stick with them. But no, next they tell me 12/27, then on 12/27, they say January 8th, 2003! To add insult to this, they bill my credit card on 12/30 anyway. I ask why they have done this and on January 2, they write back "We shipped out your monitor today," but offer no explanation for the credit card billing.
Upshot, I don't trust them. They don't communicate well, and I find it deceptive to list products as in stock when they clearly are not."
"its taking more then 2 day to ship my order, im not impress at all at how some prefer to take their times. it doesnt matter new years or not...it probably take 3 or 4 or 5 day who knows, i guess we'll see...it's just a small order btw, i just don't get it :(

Orders are not binding upon Esystor until accepted and confirmed by Esystor. Once an order has been placed and accepted by Esystor, the order is not cancelable unless the shipment is unavoidably delayed. The order can be cancelled only on the following conditions;
Penalty of $15.00 or 4% of the total invoice amount, whichever greater
Esystor cancels due to its inability to ship the goods

"I looked on pricewatch.com for a low priced external USB hard drive and came across Esystor.com. The price on their 120 GB drive was so low ($182), about $140 cheaper than Maxtor's external drive, so I decided to give them a try.
Placed order on Dec 17, 2002 and chose their free shipping option. Drive arrived on Dec 24, 2002. Not bad, considering I saved $33 for shipping.
While the external drive is basically just a 120 GB Maxtor drive encased in a USB case, it still works extremely well. It is very nicely built, and doesn't take up so much space like Maxtor's drive. The case also looks sleek.
The only setback was that the drive needed to be formatted, despite the website saying it was preformatted. No big deal really, but more documentation with the drive would have been welcome.
Still, I can not find an external drive as cheap as Esystor.com was able to offer, so they get my approval. I will buy from them again when I'm in need of more computer parts."
"Bought a Samsung 60GB drive. Price was as advertised and order was shipped promptly. My system would not recognize the drive and I returned it as defective. They emailed me back that drive checked out ok. They would only charge for return shipping and not for a non-defective return. I needed to update my bios to recognize large drives.
My only complaint is that it took a few emails to get an RMA number.

Hard drive is installed and running fine. Shipped on time. Emailed me a tracking number. Good emails about progress.
Two small complaints:
The signup page is unencrypted when you give them a username and password.
One email said I had to pay tax, but the next one said I didn't. (My credit card was charged tax, but that's they way it was supposed to be.)
Overall, glad to see a reseller with this kind of rating and these prices."
