Stole money,no phone!!!

"They took £310 from me for a Sony phone. The phone was broken. I sent it back and now have do not have a phone or refund. Halifax credit card cannot help me under section 75. Where apprantly credit cards are a safe bet!! "

poor communication

"Bought a Samsung Galaxy j7 Pro from them shortly after the screen broke on it and it says lifetime warranty so I try to contact them about it to get it replaced or fixed and they never have gone back to me and that was couple months ago."

It appears my package is lost by the courier

"It appears my package is lost by the delivery company. I had taken insurance and despite that, eGlobal Central BE is not answering my email for resolution. This is now over 10 days that no answer while their FAQ says that claims should be escalated within 10 days from the date of order.

I am left with no option to escalate this to my credit card company and will not buy from eGlobal Central BE again.

I don't know if someone has a similar experience I had? Please share.

eGlobalCentral UK: the horror story!

"eGlobalCentral: where do I start. Like most people these days I am very price conscious when looking for and buying almost anything. eGlobalCentral came out pretty much on top in terms of price keenness during my web search. My harrowing experience with them bears-out what you get in respect of these bargain basement prices.

The order for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was placed on 28the February. Suffice it to say more than SIX WEEKS later I was still without the device. Admittedly, DPD were to blame for some of this delay. However, in the ensuing period eGlobalCentral were pretty much radio silent and in fairness DPD went out of their way to rectify what they’d done wrong.

There is no way to get in contact with eGlobalCentral (who despite their claims to being a British site are clearly Hong Kong based) other than by sending an email – or in my case multiple emails. The chat function on the website is inoperable and I’m sure eGlobalCentral intend it to be this way. Emails sent by me were largely ignored for days, or even weeks on end.

In the end, I have simply given up and requested a full refund, to which eGlobalCentral have written back saying there will be a £15 administration fee!! I did though actually receive a refund – there was no message advising me of this; I just kept on checking my account – and it was for the full amount paid and with no administration fee.

This has been without any doubt the most stressful online, or otherwise shopping experience I have ever encountered and urge anyone thinking of buying from eGlobalCentral to think again. It is definitely worth paying the extra to buy from a reputable seller. Avoid these people like the plague. In my view, with such atrocious levels of customer services they should be shut down until the standards we all expect are met.

NEED TO FILE A COMPLAINT AND NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO OPERATE

"Bought a Sharp cell phone that doesnt work in the US. Returned it back to them in a couple of days and they claim its not their issue which doesnt match their warranty/guarantee claims. Currently working with Paypal and Capital One to get as much back as I can. These guys are crooks and if someone in Hong Kong goes postal on them I wont be shedding a tear."

Very disappointed!

"Very disappointed! Shipment never arrived, no money refund and no customer service possible!

In February I ordered a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and never received the parcel. They claimed it could not be delivered and even I gave them my phone number and asked them to set me into contact with the delivery company my parcel never arrived. I want to take legal action against such fraudulent business behaviour - any advice? If eglobalcentral.de reads this review - please contact me to see if you find a way to send me my product after all.

eGlobal Central Crooks and Con Merchants

"If your order from this company and what you eventually get works you are one of the very lucky few. I ordered a Moto E4plus mobile from them, Never worked properly from the start. Completely ceased to function after two days. Numerous emails to them produced no result. They eventually blamed it on on software which they said was not covered under their warranty. eGlobal is a total waste of time and money. Don't deal with these crooks and con merchants, you will be sorry "

Scam company - do not touch, even with a bargepole!!

"Do NOT touch this company!
We ordered and paid for two new iPads from what we thought was a UK company.
The parcel arrived, the label stated 24 hour next day delivery and showed the weight as 1kg, which is exactly the weight of one boxed iPad. The label also said "1 of 1" (therefore confirming that only one was sent).
I emailed them on at least 4 occasions, but received no response, which left me no alternative but to open a case via PayPal. I informed PayPal that my husband was using, and happy with his iPad and we only wanted a refund for the missing iPad.
They obviously took ages to respond to PayPal, but eventually stated that they wanted the iPad back in its "original condition" before issuing a refund. They also wanted me to pay postage to send it to Hong Kong! I told PayPal we had never dealt with anyone from HK, and didn't see why we should be out of pocket paying for postage when it was their error all along. PayPal finally managed to get a UK return address, and also refunded me the postage.
After nearly 3 months, we finally received a refund from PayPal.
From reading other reviews, it seems I am not the only one to have had similar problems with them, so be warned!

good camera prices, but worthless warranty

"I was very excited to find out about eGlobal Central. I had been researching various sellers to by a new digital camera; eGlobal Central offered the best price. To be sure, I contacted their customer service and asked about warranties and post-sale services. They replied,

“All our products are imported goods and will not come with manufacturer's warranty, but instead we will cover the warranty through our own company. eGlobal covers limited warranty of 24-month on our cameras and lenses.”

I should have stopped then and not bought a camera without the manufacturer’s warranty. But, I checked the company reviews on the internet, and since they were generally positive, I bought the camera and lenses to the tune of more than $1,600. At first, I was happy and satisfied with my purchase. I loved the camera and it seemed that I got it for a good price.

But soon, I noticed a slight color imbalance in the photos taken with the new camera. I suspected that it might be a minor issue with its white balance and color settings. So, within a couple weeks after I bought the camera, I contacted the seller and asked how we could have the camera checked under warranty. I did not want to cancel the sale or return the camera, just check it under warranty and make sure that its color setting was correct. I considered this a reasonable request. However, the company responded that they would not do anything until I sent them a video of the problem! “What kind of video you want”, I asked. To see the color imbalance, one must look at the subject and the photo at the same time; what video I should supply. The company did not respond, they just said

“We would like to have more photos or videos to show the problem regarding the photo colors are not correct as you claimed.” Then they said that I must pay for inspection fee and return shipping fee!

That is when I realized that the company’s warranty was probably a lie and it was worthless. In summary, buy from this company if you want a low price, but do not hold your hopes up for a good customer service or post-sale warranty.

I bought a moto 5GS plus and the delivery took 6 weeks. When I opened the box the socket plug was not for Europe but for Asia or US. When I switched the phone on the Wifi was not working. The phone is faulty. I contacted eglobal : no reply. Then I contacted Motorola Germany and gave the phone ID number. They told me the phone is from Taiwan and no warranty in Germany! I bought the phone from www.eglobalcentral.de - a german website! I contacted eglobal more than 6 times to return the phone : no reply... :( Do not buy here. This is a fraud. Unfortunately still can't get my money back.

Fraud - they remove pieces and sell elsewhere. don't buy from here!

"Camera is supposed to come standard with a 8 GB Micro SD card, per manufacturer's website. E Global takes out this card and claims that it's not their responsibility to include it or tell you it's not included. Stuck with a product that is missing pieces and doesn't work without the card. "

Goods not delivered and No refund

"I bought a mobile phone in 10/01/2018 and according to website the delivery supposed to be done in around 8 working days.
I received the track number and was checking on courier company website, but the parcel stopped in distribution. I contacted the courier company and they said that they did not find the parcel and I have to contact the seller. I sent a email to eGlobal Central asking to contact the courier company and check if they really sent the parcel and sort all this problem. They answered my email saying that they will contact the courier company. Since that day I have no answer about my issue. Up to this moment 20/03/2018 I did not receive my product and I did not receive my refund and eGlobal Central do not answer my emails. I really want my product or a refund. I do not recommend this company. eGlobal Central do not care about their customers and they are not trying to sort this issue.

Product faulty on arrival and same RMA experience as described in other reviews

"Thank you to the folks who have described the failed RMA process and delays. I ordered a Google Pixel phone through this outfit and on arrival the bluetooth would not toggle on, not even after a wipe and factory restore. They asked me to send video proof of the failure, I got the same return instructions copied in another review; I am not chancing this. I will issue a chargeback."
