"I have the same bad experience with this merchant as many other reviewers. This is probably the worst online vendor I have ever ecountered. After I returned their products which do not have the functions claimed on their website, they just keep delaying a direct refund to my credit card. They did send me a gift certificate which I refused. I emailed and called them and asked to refund directly to my credit card. One agent agreed over the phone to inform the sales department to change the refund to my card. I never see it on my card. I have to place a dispute with them through my credit card. Today (3 months later), I got a letter from my credit card saying that ecamerafilms told them they already sent me a refund and ask me to explain the situation again. I guess They either refer to the gift certificate or they were lying. Gee, I don't know why it is so difficult for them to refund my money which does not even include the mailing fees on both their end and my end."

"Worst vendor out there. Seriously. I have been shopping on the internet for 10 years and have never experienced such a lack of customer service, or such lying and deceitful ways. I ordered a camera and film on May 30. Two weeks later, not having heard anything from the merchant, I called. I received a response a few days later than my order would ship on June 15, 2008. I was a bit surprised, to say the least, that my order would ship on a Sunday when mail was not working but I waited. When June 20th rolled around, I thought I would call again. Of course nobody picked up the phone and I left a message. Not having heard from them by June 24 (almost a month after placing my order), I called again. This time, I was told that the camera I ordered was not in stock but should be there soon (what? by 2035??). Nobody bothered to tell me that they did not have the camera in stock, especially when they flat out lied that the order would ship two weeks ago. In any case, I requested that the order be canceled and it was confirmed to me that the order was canceled. However, I just got an e-mail confirming my order, not canceling it, so here I go again. I will NEVER EVER deal with this merchant again and would recommend that nobody else does either. Such deceptive practices are disgusting and should be punished rather than encouraged. "

"eCameraFilms is by far the worst online vendor with whom I have ever done business. They shipped, very quickly a less expensive digital camera which arrived on May 19th, ’08.

I phoned their TF on May 19th and may 20th and once connected to “Customer Service” followed their directions to a “T.” Because they failed to return my calls, I filled out an RMA from on the 20th. Since no response was received, I e-mailed them on May 21st. Because they failed to respond to any of the above, I read, unfortunately after the fact, reviews of eCameraFilms at the two sites listed via a “Google” search.

After reading the reviews it was obvious this merchant, if it does not have in stock the item ordered has a LONG history of ignoring the consumer’s attempts to contact them. Consequently, because of their past performance I elected, on May 22nd, to file a “Resolution” with PayPal rather than “spin my wheels” with this non-responsive merchant.

As the PayPal deadline approached, I checked their site to determine if the item I ordered still appeared as available. Sure enough, there it was, so I decided to try another angle and rather than leave a message on their Customer Service number, I went to their Sales number. No problem getting someone to answer that number! I inquired of the female who answered if they still had the item in stock I ordered. After receiving an affirmative answer I asked her how I could return the “wrong” item and have the correct item shipped. No problem was the response and she gave me an RMA and told me to be certain to parcel the item with a “Delivery Confirmation.”

Never received another communication from them but received several days later an e-mail from PayPal stating that my credit card account was credited with the original charge. Of course, the cost of the return shipping resulting from their mistake was “on me.”

Bottom line: NEVER, NEVER order anything from eCameraFilms.

"My experience with these people has been one of barefaced dishonesty.

On April 3rd 2008, I ordered 11 cartridges of 779 Polaroid film from stock that they were advertising. They advertised 779, I paid for 779, my receipt says 779 and yet, a week later, I received a box with 11 cartridges of 600 Polaroid film.

I called them and emailed them. They told me that actually, they did not have the product that they were advertising (779), but that 600 was the same, so they sent that instead. 600 is not the same as 779. For starters, they have different numbers, right?

What kind of merchant advertises something they don't have, lets you pay for what they don't have, and then sends you whatever they do have in stock because you should be stupid enough to accept it as replacement?

A dishonest, misleading merchant.

They could not offer an exchange of course because they never had the product they trick me into paying for in the first place. Arrogance on top, they have refused me a refund. They wanted to give me a store credit. What incentive could I ever have for me to even imagine wanting to deal with these people again?

Today it's May 25, 2008. I sent my last email to Tania (a "sales executive") five days ago. I left my last voicemail on Samantha's inbox on the same day. Not a peep. Sunny is another one. I won't make their last names public.

Morale of the story: for the nth time, beware of internet stores. This is my first bad experience in years of web shopping. I got the message. The worst part is that people like these will probably change their names/domains/etc in a few months....

At least, beware of any vendor with this physical address:

60 South 2nd Street, Suite K
Deer Park, NY 11729

My next stop should be the Better Business Bureau. Who knows, maybe they can actually do something about these petty thieves.

"I am very disappointed and will never order from ecamerafilms.
I paid extra dollars to receive my camera early but it came late. Also, the camera was scratched. This online store has some issues.

"I placed my order for two digital cameras that were to be Christmas gifts. The company sent an email with a UPS tracking number and I received a package on 12/19/07. The package contained only one camera.

I called the phone number on the website, only to get an answering machine. Ileft a message. No response.

I then sent an email to the site. No response.

I called again later that day and the customer service rep said she would let me speak to the manager who assured me that my other camera would be shipped immediately and that I would receive on Christmas eve.

Christmas eve came and went. Still no camera as of 12/26. Called customer service number again. Rep said she would have the manager call me back. Two hours later, I called again. The "manager" said they would be happy to ship the camera immediately...I told him I wanted my money returned and an email sent to me to confirm that my card was being credited. No email arrived.

I would not recommend doing business with this site. I have a sneaking suspicion I will be filing a claim with my bank to get my money returned.

"CONSIDER the 30 day return policy before your purchase. We planned ahead and ordered (order on 10-4-07) cameras for our wedding (11/17/07). Now the return policy has penalized us because we are more than 30 days out from our order date. EVEN though we had to plan ahead and order in time for wedding. We are stuck with leftover unused - useless cameras!!!! There was very little flexibilty from the manager about his return policy. I wont shop here again. "

"Ordered a Panasonic Teleconverter DMW-LTZ10 (priced $499.99)on Sept. 21, 2004 and paid by credit card. Received an email confirming my order. On Oct. 3, 2004 received an email canceling my order with the reason that the item was out of stock. Went online and checked their site. Their site said it was in stock with a new price of $550.95. They could have said new stock came in with a price increase but no they lied. Warning do not do business with these people.
