Worst Customer Service in the Indusrty

"will not ship until 4-6 weeks after order placed. placed order 2/6 for shipment 2/12 zone Nine, now 3/7 and have received only 1\3 of order yesterday. The bulbs I have received are average at best. Better bulbs and prices at Home Depot or Lowes. Talked with customer service and they thought their shipping schedules are just fine.Save money and patience"

Great Experiences!

"I was very hesitant to buy from K.Van due to all of the negative reviews on various sites but I am so glad that I did! Almost everything that I have received has been of the best quality and practically sprouting out of the bags! I have purchased asiatic, oriental, and other mixed lilies, hundreds of gladiolus, begonias, hostas, ferns, huerachella, crocosmia, and several other items. I cannot speak for the Dahlias I see consistent complaints about, but the few items that did not look happy I communicated about immediately and I was sent replacements that arrived so quickly I couldn't believe it with zero argument! When an item that I ordered ran out of stock they refunded my money the full price of the item, not the sale price that I actually paid. The only complaint that I think I have is that the discounts are deeper ordering from the actual catalog and if you are an online shopper (like I am) you're not getting the full discounts available. I wish they would change this.

"Years ago, when I was an active IA State Ext Master Gardener, I purchased from K.Van Bourgondien often and until recently had some of their excellent bulbs. When I decided to replace my dahlias,tuberose, freesias, lilies and glads I did not hesitate to order from them. The prices are good and they arrived promptly, the lilies and glads were wonderful, the freesias ok but the dahlias and tuberoses were sad! The 10 dahlias I received might have had 3 viable pieces, and the tuberoses looked chewed on!
When I emailed them hoping for replacements or partial refund all I received was a "we care and will respond' email, that was over a week ago and I'm still waiting for a real response.
Very disappointed and will make sure to let gardening friends know.
