"This whole operation is a SCAM - be it seller Donn K or Directly Cheap...neither answered Qs nor resolved the problem with any intelligence. I bought a Huntington blue cutaway acoustic electric on amazon and had nothing but a horrible experience. I get this is a very low price guitar, but I've never seen one in this condition and further the customer service was awful. The one thing I will say is still it sounds pretty good / plays ok. I might have put some maintenance work into it but seems you shouldn't sell something as 'new' when it's well below that.

Tuning pegs were lifted out of their sockets so you can see the gears, electronics unit had 3 of 4 stripped screws was falling out and didn't work, a poorly sanded if not off-the-scrap-heap fretboard, scrapes down to the wood especially in the sound hole (some was just negligent finishing - they MISSED the visible pine color next to the blue burst...?), a dented pickguard (pasted a dented pickguard - couldn't have happened after), then tons of 'typical' cosmetic issues like dents and dings, as well as almost all the white binding was stained blue & cracked on the edges all over. This is aside from the nut having peeled plastic under all 6 strings, the fret markers being off, and generally poor setup This at most could have been sold as a scratch & dent, which is typically 40%...because they are subpar to sell as new.

They sent me a replacement after having to send them pictures, waiting 5 business days (including the weekend) for them to acknowledge the exchange. They did send it priority (just b4 the weekend again tho). 2nd unit arrives in nearly the same condition save the fact the non-functioning electronics was screwed in tight. Again they requested pics from me but ignored my Qs / requests...to inspect the next unit out, to call the manufacturer if not give me their contact so I can, takes pics of the next unit for ME - nothing. They did offer $15 but that's a joke - it's well below functioning standard. I requested 50% they took weeks to not answer and tell me I can send it back at MY cost, instructing me to further get shipping insurance (they send me garbage, and I have to insure it on the way back? And THEY cannot inspect the next one they send?). I of course refused and had to wait another 2 weeks when they confirmed it's a A BAD BATCH FROM THE SUPPLIER and they would send me a return label at no charge...until now 3 weeks later where they ignored 2-3 emails and JUST replied with the label, tho I still have no refund.

I don't know how they can get away with selling crap like this then try to stick the customer with the bill after god awful customer service and admitted culpability from that end...a scam to me. Never seen even a used guitar at a retailer nor even my 15 yr old $100 acoustic is this terrible. Do not purchase anything from them.
