"Made a few purchases of memory cards and batteries from this firm. No problems so far. Batteries are higher spec than the original and the high speed SD card works fine in the Canon IXUS and also the camcorder. At last I can now capture video onto a card without problems. "They sent out an item of lower quality than the one pictured on the Amazon site (podgear car kit).
When I received the item I contacted them via email and the form on their site to try and arrange an exchange or refund. They have so far ignored all attempts at communication. Their site says they try and answer all emails within a day... I've heard nothing in a week. Customer service after delivery is non-existant.
I feel ripped off in what I bought as a birthday present for my girlfriend. Her birthday's passed and I still haven't been able to give her her present. Thanks guys.
I wouldn't recommend buying from this company. If you were to receive a faulty or incorrect item, you've got a war on your hands to get anything actually done about it.
My situation remains unresolved. I'm having to go crying to the admin at Amazon Marketplace to try and get this matter dealt with. Thank god I didn't buy from them direct, else I wouldn't have this fallback."
"I bought 2 batteries from this shop (NP960 substitutes) both of which were faulty. I was unimpressed, but at least they handled it as well as I could have asked for. Since they are the cheapest battery store on the net (to my knowledge) I knew I was taking a risk, but in the end, they got back to me in reasonable time, explaining they had got a bad batch of batteries. I was fully refunded, including the cost of returning the faulty batteries. I don't mind putting the extra effort in when the service is good and the prices are this low."
