"I ordered my products 11 days ago. The website says they haven't even been "picked" yet which, I assume, means prepared for shipping. I have sent to unanswered emails. It is ridiculous to expect people to wait this long to receive an order. I am absolutely done with delia's, internet or otherwise. I have NEVER been this dissatisfied with a company before.
I wanted to update this today. I have sent two emails questioning the status of my order. Both emails were NOT responded to. I finally called today. They told me I needed to call my credit card company to authorize the payment. Why am I just hearing about this TWO weeks later??? I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for 10 minutes they told me I could not speak to a supervisor because their office was closing in a few minutes.
I have NEVER ordered from such a difficult company. I cancelled my order and told them to NEVER send me another catalog. Rediculous!!!

"I was very disappointed with dELiA's. I have ordered from them before and everything went fine. Until recently. I went and ordered some boots the day after Cyber Monday and everything went fine and I got my confirmation email. I waited a few days and still nothing else. I went through the email and found my tracking info and went to the website, which was a lot more difficult than most other sites I've been to. When I logged the information in I was taken to a page with the order information. It said the boots were now Backordered and had no information as to when then would be shipped. I was very frustrated and sent them an email, which was never responded to and then called their customer service who then proceeded to tell me they might be getting a new shipment on 12/7, key word here being might. So then I decided to go and cancel the order because the boots were not worth it any more and I was able to buy the same boots on another website that was much better and had so much nicer service. I have never had to deal with this and am quite appalled that this is how they run their business. Never again will I buy online from dELiA's."

"Very disappointed. I ordered a pair of boots and two sweaters online almost a month ago. After a week of looking online at the tracking information and seeing that it had still not shipped, I called corporate. I explained my situation and was told that the shipping address had needed to be verified before the shipped it. What I don't understand is why they didn't call me the day it had processed or a day or two after and instead let me wait around a week wondering what was going on. So the woman on the phone told me she would ship it out to me express, and it should be here in 2-3 days. After the 4th day, and still not saying it had been shipped on my tracking order, I called a second time and was told that it would be here in a week. It arrived today, a week later, and it is missing one sweater. I checked the online order and it said two items and shipped and the one sweater was canceled. I called for a third time again, today, and was told that between the time that the order had placed and was shipped they ran out of the item. Very disappointed. Never ordering from again."

"I placed an order online and was charged. When they shipped out the order they charged me again. I called customer service and was told this is how they do it. I explained to them this is fraud because I did not authorize them to charge me twice. When I asked to speak to the supervisor I was place on hold as they kept pressing buttons to upset me. As they were doing that I fired off an email to corporate. I will never ever order another thing from them. I also called the bank and let them know they committed fraud."

"I ordered a tank with matching cami at the beginning of July. They shipped the cami, and said the tank was on backorder and schedule to ship 7/23. I called at the end of July, and they said they didn't have enough of the tanks to fill the orders, but they'd ship the product on 8/7. I called again today, and the rep said they are expecting a shipment on 8/15, but once again they wouldn't have enough. She said my shipment would go out on 8/24. She was very rude.

They shipped half my order, but charged me all of the shipping costs! I live in NH. The tank will be useless to me in Sept. I'll never purchase from them again. No wonder they're having sales. They're dishonest and rude.

Update-When I emailed them on 8/24, they moved the date to 8/31. I emailed again on 9/4, and now they won't even give me a date. I've requested a full refund of $16, and I'll return the cami. It's only worth $6.

"Delia's has cute stuff (totally overpriced but they have good sales) that my daughter loves, but HORRIBLE online service. Ordered some stuff two weeks ago and it's still not here. Website shows only that the order is "complete"--no shipping info or tracking number. I finally had to call-several times before I got through--to be told that the order had been shipped and would be delivered by a certain date. That date has come and gone and still no goods! This is surely no way to run a company in this day and age. Also, you cannot return items purchased online at a store--BOO! I would highly recommend shopping at the stores and avoiding the website if at all possible."

"I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with their online store. I placed two orders on one day: one order was shipped and received in time, the other order was held for more then two weeks without any communication from the customer service. When I called the customer service rep mumbled something about the need to verify my address with the credit card company to avoid fraudulent activity, which sounded like an absolute nonsense to me. I do all my shopping online and this is the first time I heard this kind of story."

"My daughter loves the clothes, and they do have some cute items. The problem I have is with things being out of stock and having to wait over a month to get them (especially when you get the top to the bikini and have to wait for the bottoms). Also, the catalog seems misleading with their prices, it will say a price, then you find out it's the "starting at" price and very few items are in that price category."

"It will be over a month after ordering for my items to arrive. They are expected to be hear in about 7 days.
Horrible shipping time. But have ordered from them before and was satisfied with the products. ...just not the shipping time and customer service. they take forever to process your order before shipping... like do they seriously need a month before they can ship?! also they claim their items are available and then after you place your order they keep changing their availability dates!! how could they sell me something and then say it wont be available til 2 more weeks and then keep changing it to more weeks of waiting.

"A week later they said my order was ready for shipment. It took another six days before they said they shipped it. Then the tracking number didn't work. Four days alter we called to be told it would take another 2 weeks to receive it. Now that that date has passed and we still do not have it we called and they say they will overnight ship it to us the next business day. I don't trust that it will happen nor will I order from them again. They didn't even offer to refund the shipping of $12.50 either!! We'll be calling back for that request after we finally get the package a month after we ordered. Terrible online store."

"Delias is the worst company I have ever done business with!!! The stole money from me, I placed an order with them for a set price printed off the confirmation with the correct price stated on the invoice, then I get a higher amount charged to my credit card?!? They are out right thiefs and should be put out of business plain and simple!!! Lucky for me my Credit card company did flie charges against them and did a charge back and I was able to get my money back from them, but I hate that other will fall prey to them!"

"These people are theives, plain and simple. They ran a great sale, but refused to ship the items purchased. Then they charge your credit card for a higher amount then the merchandise and shipping of the original order. AVOID THEM!!!!"

"I used a coupon I found online. Went through the checkout process without a problem. Received a perfect confirmation letter.
Only till I received the item did I come to realize I was charged a price "without" the coupon.
I was told that the coupon was invalid, so they add the amount automatically.
I told them they should notify me first that they changed the order and they should refund me.
They wouldn't listen and accused me abusing coupon.
Come on! Shouldn't their system identify which coupon is valid?
Plus, their price is not very good. I wouldn't buy anything without the coupon.

So use the coupon cautiously from this seller.
I strongly suspected this was a trick.
