"Came in at 9am on a thursday with a tire rim and the receipt from the new tire which I had ordered in store for it. Signed the paperwork for the tire job and then shopped for a helmet. 15 minutes later came to the front with the helmet I was buying and realized that they had not even looked at the tire yet - both staff members were talking at the register. I kindly asked about the tire and they told me it would probably be done on Friday. Thought that was weird because they were both standing around, but dismissed it, paid them $300 for a brand new helmet and left. Called the next day and the same guy picked up and he said that the guy who does tires won't be in until Monday. Alrighty then, missed a beautiful weekend out riding but hadn't lost my patience too much. Called again on Monday afternoon to see if the tire was even started, same guy picked up and told me it wasnt going to be done until tomorrow. So I started pressing for info as to the alleged tire guy, because this was the same guy picking up each time. He told me that he WAS that guy and that the store was simply busy and he was there alone. I told him id come by and pick up the tire in 1/2 an hour whether its done or not. By the time I had driven out there, he was done with the tire. He was not alone at the store and I was the only one there. Shotty service at best in my honest experience. Not going back, found a dude on facebook in local classifieds who has the tire machine and going to support the little guy instead the next time I need a tire done. Its a 15 minute job and I was screwed out of a great weekend and 4 days because of cycle gears staff."
