She had great information about both products and took the time to assist me in getting a proper fitting helmet. I was looking for jeans but purchased leggings with kevlar and knee guards based on her recommendation. They are super comfy and afford protection in case of an accident. "I recently purchased some cold weather riding gear from the Cycle Gear store in Bolingbrook, IL.
It was important to me that I be able to try the gear (for personal comfort & sizing) before buying it.
Good thing I went to the store! I tried on some 3-layer riding pants by Sedici. I frequently wear a size L or XL pant. I couldn't get either one to fasten. I went with a XXL which fit perfectly. Then I tried on some of the heated gear pant liners and the L was the right size for those (the XL was too loose & too long). Go figure that one item would be L and the other XXL. But that's why I like going to the brick & mortar stores whenever possible because not all gear is sized the same. If I had done that through online shopping I'd still be going sending things back and forth trying to get the right size. Staff at this store was very helpful and patient with me. Definitely recommend this store for any motorcycle enthusiasts in the SW suburbs of Chicago. "
