"I have been order contacts from this website since 2018 and just recently placed my ninth order switch ContactLens.com. I found them after an eye doctor appointment, where a year of contacts would have cost me almost $300, and they tried to sell me on promises of a $100 rebate. I did do this ONCE before when I was naive about purchasing contacts online, and I remember it took almost six months after filling out forms to actually receive the rebate.
I was recommended by a friend to a well-known website that deals exclusively in home delivery of prescription lenses, but even their prices were insane. I did a google search for my brand lenses and that’s when I discovered ContactLens.com— I could not believe it’d only be $25 for one box of 6 lenses!!! I was a little wary placing my first order, but I couldn’t pass up $50 for six months worth of lenses. And I was not disappointed!
The shipping was super quick (I believe they ship from MA so if you’re anywhere on the east coast, expect a very short waiting period!) Submitting a scanned copy of your prescription will speed the process, but if you do not have one they will contact your eye doctor themselves for verification which is so convenient.
When I received my first order, I compared the boxes to those I had previously received from my eye doctor as I was nervous about receiving a product that was not genuine. They were identical in every way and as I’ve been wearing contacts from this website for over three years, I have never once had an issue with the quality of my lenses whatsoever (I use Air Optix Hydraglyde).
The customer service is also outstanding which is such a welcome relief nowadays where every other website has very automated responses and take days to get back to you. Customer service communication with this website feels very warm and personable, and they always respond so quickly. I once placed an accidentally order of twice as many boxes than I needed. J contacted customer service right away and it was adjusted for me, no problem. Keep in mind this may not always be the case, especially if you don’t catch an error in time, but the fact they did this for me instead of saying “sorry, too late, no refunds” was exactly what has kept me coming back to order more, and referring this website to friends and family.
The only thing I would like differently is if they offered different payment methods like PayPal or Apple Pay. However, I’ve never had issues entering my card information on the website so I will take that any day over paying hundreds for contacts anywhere else :)
