"Purchased True DBGrid Pro 8.0 (via direct download link) from those guys. Talked to the sale representative and was assured that the email containing the download link would be sent within 24 hrs from the vendor (assuming that my cc would be approved). The cc was approved. Nothing showed up on the second day. On the third day, I called back again. This time, they said that they would contact the vendor to send the email. Nothing showed up after a week of waiting. I called again, this time was put through a voice message. I left a message asking to return my call. No one called me back. Called again, this time luckily I was talking to a LIVE person and he assured me that the order would be canceled properly.

A month later, the cc bill showed up. I called again, thru another voice messaging system, left a message demanding a cancellation for the second time and specifically asked them to return my call. Well 2 hours later, I received an email from them asking me to fill out some Letter of Destruction. I filled out the form and emailed back.

I am still unsure if I can get my money back. Your mileage may vary but from my experience, avoid them at ALL COSTS. No one should go the EXTRA length to deal with this company.

Evidently this company is even worse than my original rating. The person that I filled out the form and returned it sent me another email assuring again that my cc would be recredited on 02/09/03. He also stated that the person that I dealt with (in buying the product) was no longer with the company. I am unsure of who he indicated but there were at least three (3) representatives that led me to this mess.

Yesterday, I got a message from their credit manager asking me to return the call to verify the charge since according to their record, the download email was sent to me. I called her today anyway and it appeared that the person who assured to recredit my cc last Friday was out of town. The credit manager had no idea of this! The reason that she called me because I disputed the charge with my cc. Well, she promised me that the problem will be resolved next Monday when the other manager (the one who promised to recredit my cc on 02/09/03) return.

What a circus. How can any company run this XTRA?
