"Normally people only write to these websites when there is a complaint. I’m writing because at least in my recent experience, the ratings here aren’t accurate.
I was shopping online for a Luminox 3001 watch for about a week. I found wristwatch.com (which used to be watchzone.com) on a price search engine. Their price of $151 was cheaper than all the competitors by at least $28-$69, and it retails for $275. Plus the shipping was free and an upgrade to UPS Next Day Air Saver was only $15.95. I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews but I saw on their web page that wristwatch.com is an authorized dealer of Luminox, so I ordered. The watch shipped the same day I ordered, and was at my house by 4 pm the next day. It came complete in factory packaging with warranty the card. I am very pleased with the speed of service, and that I was able to use Paypal. Excellent vendor. I can recommend using them at least for the Luminox brand, but given my experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to use wristwatch.com again.

"Not totally satisfied. Prices were good. Was told the watch I wanted was in stock. (I first inquired of this fact before placing my order.) When I placed my order I was told it was not in stock and would take 4-5 days to become available. I also requested that one link be removed from the watch band. I was told this was not problem. When the watch arrived the link had not been removed. I have emailed them for a reponse and have not yet had a reply as to why this was not taken care of. After numberous inquiries I finally received a reply that stated they do not remove links from a watch band (this was after I was told they would do it). I would not recommend this company. Their customer service was extremely slow in responding and they are not honest in what they say they will do."

It took nearly an hour to finally choose the watch i wanted. When i finally made my decision, they shipped it express mail so it would arrive to my father before his birthday. I found the company to have great customer service and would use them again in the future."

"I purchased a Tag from this company because of the great price. I ordered it in November for a christmas present. It arrived in March. We called the company over 8 times, spoke with the president twice, and had about 15 calls during regular hours that were never answered. It's my belief this is not a large company but a small outfit with a web presence.
When my watch finally came, I notuiced that the serial number had been BUFFED OFF the back of the watch, thereby voiding any warranty with Tag, and ensuring that no authorized tag dealer would ever service my watch. After reading several forums with horrible comments about this company, and seeing the presdient himself even respond to them with a phone name, I realized why the SN was gone. This company misleads the manufacturers by buying watches as a distributor and getting a distributor rate, but instead of then supplying the watches to dealers, the companys resells the watches straight to the consumers, at dealer prices.
Not only does this screw over the dealers, but the manufacturers and customers as well. Secondly, this company has NO inventory. They order the watches from the manufacturers as the order is placed by the customer, which is why it takes so long to ship to you.
I had two friends buy watches from this company. Both took over a month to arrive and both were without serial numbers. If you do a search for this company on altavista, you should see several other negative revies.
