It gives very bad services!

"Evaluators and customer services looks like not professional
Evaluators are missed up my doc details such as learning institutions , title of credential, and dates. They didn't see my document's details and they have evaluated my documents wrongly. Customer services are so rude and arogant. I have ordered masters degree ducumeent evaluation but the report details are showing bachelor degrree. They missed up reading details on each dicuments. They respond all my inquiries without cross cheking facts on my documents and rules of the thier company. They are inconsistent. They also lost my document. Customer servants are simply listening themselves not what thier customers are actually saying. I strongly dissatisfied with thier services. I regreted for selecting WES as my credential evaluator.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

"This company charged me $300, made me wait for 1 year, and still did not give me the evaluation report. I called and emailed many times and their only response was that I need to pay $50 more to restart the process! Now they are holding my only copy of the documents and waiting for more money. This company has the worst customer service imaginable. The manager was worse than the customer rep.
I just called again, and they said that I have not emailed them before! While I have all the emails saved. Are you kidding me?
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE COMPANY

SCAM OF THE CENTUARY

"WES has failed to provide answers to the questions regarding policy involved in assessing two same degrees differently (almost WES is deliberately operating under dark).
WES also fails to explain the rationales for the policies in place.
In all it’s an organization with vague processing. Run Away from it.

Unpresentable. They are not trustworthy

"I hired a study certification service. From being a period of 3-5 days, it was extended to 9-10.
I paid to receive the documentation at my address - 16 days after starting the process and 7 since they claim to certify it, I am still waiting for some documents that have not arrived.
For another shipment to the Study Center to which I am applying, I have paid $30 dollars for the document plus $35 for express delivery ($65). Well now they don't deliver, nor do I know where the certification is.
I called the center. At lost thanks to the Canadian postal service, I have to wait another 10 days, but WES does not know or answer
They tell me that the institution proceed through the link for institutions to download it, but they do not provide me with the link either; and the Educational Center that does not tell you stories.
Advice: stay away from this company. They are inept or worse some real scoundrels. Leaving your job or studies in their hands is dangerous and I would not do it again.
Some days they say they have processed 75,000 applications, another 10,000. Ha ha!!!!

Scammers! Dont use them

"They stoled our money and did nothing, I highly recomend the people that had the same experience do what We are doing: Complaint about them reporting them as a fraud, this company has to be stopped!

My daughter paid for a "course by course" evaluation and they never gave her what she paid for. She even paid for the shipping to the college. The thing is they never returned that money either!

They take so much money and do nothing

"I waited for more than two weeks after the package was received by them for them to receive or scan the documents. After that they want few more weeks to complete evaluation. The customer service representative just do not care about your situation. What a waste of time and money. I wish there was another option. "

If only I could give them 0!

"The worst service ever. Won’t recommend to anyone. Reps just use the script, not helpful at all. After getting an apostille, they still want to verify my docs in my university. What’s the point of getting the apostille then? No clear explanation received. Not to mention that I started the process of evaluation at 2020. Almost 2 years - and nothing done. "

Worst service ever!!!

"Worst experience ever!! The reps don't know themselves about what needs to be done. Had to call at least 200 times for updates or issues. Incompetent people. Better go for another body for evaluation to save time and energy. They messed up my evaluation big time."

Absolutely incompetent! WES is the worst company to get your Education credentials evaluated! STAY AWAY from WES!!!!!

"I sent my transcripts to WES in April 2021 and uploaded my transcripts online to their database shortly after.
My english transcript from my German 10 years of "Realschule" school was accepted and also my Bachelor degree which was a Bachelor Professional of Hotelmanagement (Hotelmeisterin) by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry issued in english was accepted and I followed up online through my account and they sent me by E-mail updates. What they have not accepted was everything else and I needed to contact 4 institutions to have my transcripts translated from German into English and to have sent the German and English version of each transcript to WES in a sealed stamped envelop. This has cost me alot of research and contacting every institution. I had to pay the chamber of commerce and industry in Franfurt am Main a fee of 70 Euros for having issued an additional suporting document that stated they my Bachelor degree was valid and the signature on there aproved by Government bodies. The chamber of commerce and industry in Freiburg requested a fee of 25 Euros for having my aprenticeship certificates issued in English and German and sent to WES. The chamber of commerce and industry in Mannheim has cost me alot of effort to having those certificates issued and sent to WES, since they were hesitant to issue them at all, but did in the end for my Instructor education and sent them to WES as well. My school in Germany issued me the transcript and sent it with a letter to WES as well. Then the nightmare started. I received my report firstly online and later it was sent to me in July 2021 (issued June 25th 2021). But on my report have been missing my instructor education and my bachelor degree. Both my instructor education and the bachelor degree are belonging in Germany together. I thought ok mistakes happen and Canada does not know our education system and their education system might be different as well. So I contacted since June 2021 WES through several messages. I asked them why my bachelor degree was not on the report and if the transcripts had arrived from the chamber of commerce and industry. But they failed to give me an answer! For instance I messaged this to WES:
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing again to you and want to know which documents do you have received ?
1. Have the transcripts (certificates) for Bachelor Professional of Hotelmanagement CCI from the Industrie und Handelskammer Frankfurt am Main, Germany arrived?
The reply I received was: Dear xxxxx,
Thank you for choosing World Education Services (WES).
Your evaluation has been completed based on all documents accepted by WES. Your completed evaluation report was mailed on 06/25/2021 by standard delivery to the address provided.
So I contacted WES again and again in several messages and latest I contacted their management, but got right away an automated reply.
All I wanted to know was, if my transcripts have arrived for which I had paid 70 Euros and why my bachelor degree was not on the report.
The reply finally arrived via E-mail saying the following,:
Thank you for contacting us with your concerns regarding your completed evaluation.
Please be advised that WES considers your "Hotelmeisterin" qualification to be a predominantly vocational qualification which does not lend itself to an academic equivalency in Canada. As such, the qualification was omitted from the report.
The report has been reviewed and we have concluded that there are no errors in the report. Therefore, no changes will be made to the evaluation report.
We would like to stress that evaluations prepared by World Education Services are offered as advisory opinions and, as such, they are not binding upon any institution or organization.
Sincerely, WES Evaluations Team

So according to WES my Bachelor degree is not valid? because it is not equivalent to the Canadian academics? Still I have done this degree and in Europe is is recognized as a Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework. After this is only Level 7 for Master degree and Level 8 for the Doctor title- I do understand that the education system in Canada is different, but the degree from Germany should be still on the report, eventhough not equivalent or recognized in Canada. I have paid alot of fees to do this Bachelor degree. And WES would not put it on the report because it is not recognized here? Who is WES to tell me that their report is correct? I want my money back from WES!

Worst customer service representative/ evaluation company

"Canceled my account after a follow up message was sent to hold on. Nasty customer service representative. Never responds to you and never empathize with you. Would offer you cancelation instead of looking for ways to help. Unecessarily Sending verifications twice to school that sends students transcripts to them. And making life difficult for foreigners knowing some country demand you to pay heavily every time a verification is requested. And the stress you go through trying to reach countries that have no technology advancement. Will never recommend."

Worst Customer Service I have ever seen

"WES provided the worse experience ever! I ordered a credential evaluation for my visa papers. Two copies were supposed to be sent on 17 June, one for me and one for my receipient. No copies were received my either of us. I had to follow up with the customer service for 40 DAYS in order to re-order a new copy sent. It took them an additional 8 days to send a new one for my recipient.

Not only my visa papers were delayed and I had to follow up with customer service DAILY by phone and by email, I also paid a total of 3 copies and transfer services to get only one.

If you have a list of companies, I strongly suggest you keep WES as your very very last choice.

Terrible Service and Inept Employees

"This outfit called WES is terrible, you requested for transcripts from the university I graduated from, it was sent but you claimed you are not familiar with the sender of the email when in-fact she included a link with her position and department information. The email was sent from an official university email, that seem not good a enough for these clowns. Try calling the customer service, they hired a bunch of condescending nitwits who think immigrants are lesser than humans, to think they evaluate academic qualifications when the employees sound like individuals who barely finished middle school. Mitchell, Victoria and Ashiela or whatever she called herself are all sad and miserable looking for folks to pass misery to. I called, politely requested for a manager on several occasions, they just put you on hold till you are tired. My advise, save your money except you want to deal with goat like humans. My issue still not resolved but I am determined to drag them everywhere I can. "

Horrible

"Absolutely incompetent. I’ve 12 years of German highschool and a degree in biotechnology from a vocational education facility. Because I could have done the degree after grade 10 due to a 3 tiered school system in Germany WES evaluated as a secondary level study and not post secondary. They’ve no understanding of the school system, are extremely incompetent and customer service is hiding behind “do not reply emails”. They refused to mention any courses or grades but took 4 months to prepare a useless and false evaluation. Stay away from them. "

Terrible Organization

"Stay as far away from WES as possible. An evaluation which they promised me would be a 10 day turnaround, took over 5 months. Minimum Customer Service wait time was an hour and they uninformed and not helpful. Horrendous experience."

Malpractice & Negligent Professional Behavior

"My experience with WES was a nightmare. I sent three times the same documents with tracking number since they keep telling me that they did not received it when tracking specified that it was delivered. Then they told me part of my translation was missing. During a call their agent told me that once I submit the request online they will email me the missing part so I can have the professional translator providing them with the translation. They then told me they do not send any information back to the applicant. I was mislead during the entire process and they had the audacity to charge me $50 cancellation fee when I cancelled due to their lack of professionalism and malpractice. Save your money and your time and go with another institution."
