Happy customers

"We bought 3 snowboard packages for our family for X-mas for under $1000 and we couldn't be more pleased. They helped us pick the correct sizes and shipped for free. Our order arrived in a few days. The boards were waxed and ready to ride and looked better than expected.

I hadn't had a new board in 9 YEARS and I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed the new style. My riding noticeably improved. The nose and tail rocker are awesome in powder.

The boards held up really well and we are looking forward to year 2!!!

Buyer Beware - Incredibly Disappointed

"We purchased a snowboard and used it only a handful of times when a small section of the bottom base started to slightly bubble. We didn’t think much of it (which we should have taken pictures) as we prepared to leave for a trip. A few hours into the trip, that area, a 5” x 2” section of the base pulled completely away from the board.

We called Wiredsport and they said to take a few good pictures, which we did and then in a follow-up email they requested us to send them the board. Thinking that were going to warrant it, we paid the $35 to ship it to them. Once they received it, they claimed that it was due to a rock collision, said it would not be warranted, and diminished all the symptoms running up to the issue.

Obviously, I was frustrated but just asked that they return the board to us. They told me to PayPal them $35 in order to return it. At no time both on my conversation on the phone nor in the email when they asked for the board did they say I would be required to pay return shipping. Had I known that I would be taking a $70 gamble in shipping I wouldn’t have done it.

Amazon backed me up and sent them 2 emails to urge them to do the right thing to ship my board back because they didn’t disclose the charges, but unfortunately, they refused. And as a 3rd party seller on Amazon, they don’t have the authority to require it.

This is a terrible way to run a company. They were wrong here – and I’m not even getting into the issue of the poor quality of the construction of the board – they aren’t owning up to their mistake of not letting me know the charges upfront. Now they have my $195 to purchase the board AND MY BOARD. Wow!

Better Than Expected!

"Sean was sooooo helpful! My package got here ahead of the shipping date. I was so happy I took his advice and got a new style of board with reverse camber. It was the best powder board. My back leg didn't even get tired. The boots were so comfortable even from the first day. My new favorite board for sure!"

Customer Service is great

"Ordered a board, bindings, boots, (2) bags, and (2) helmet. The shipping took a little longer than expected which was fine, but the board came scratched due to the placement of the screws meant for the bindings. Received a partial refund instantly which was more than I could ask for as it was just a surface scratch."

Fantastic Service

"I cannot suggest these guys highly enough. I equipped my daughter - who is now 21 - with her first board from Wiredsport when she was 8 YO. Now both of my sons have boards. Wiredsport was incredibly helpful in finding us all gear. They ship fast and offer amazing support after the sale. "

I think this is a FRAUDULENT business. Steer clear!!!

"The guy Randy who runs this business is a fraud I think. Watch out! I ordered something that shipped via the SLOWEST shipping ground service on 7.21.2017 and took so long it was scheduled to arrive after the trip I needed it for, so I cancelled the order mid-shipment. The day it was out for delivery the status got changed to undeliverable, the address was tagged as undeliverable (even though I verified the address and ship things there all the time), and it was tagged as return to sender in the same day without giving me the option to pick it up from a Fed Ex facility. All this happened on 8/1/2017.

I've been emailing them here and there since then and Randy keeps giving me a stock answer about how they don't refund until they receive the items and that my address was incorrect or undeliverable (not at all true). I've probably emailed him at least 12 times and I keep getting the same short answer. He refused to investigate the situation or say anything past that, or acknowledge the fact that this situation is odd. He responds via email really fast too with the same stock message (even though he does nothing to investigate it and it's been sitting with Fed Ex in Portland, Oregon for months), and I can't get a hold of him when I tried calling and leaving a message. This business is fraudulent I think. Stay away. If you do somehow get your product and need to do a return then good luck, and I doubt the item will get to you in a reasonable amount of time.

Great Customer Service

"I bought a snowboard bag 2 years ago. Great quality bag, and used it on several flights. One of the zippers broke, but it was still manageable. I went back onto the website and saw that I had a 3-year warranty on the bag and decided to email Wiredsports. In an hour I got a response telling me to ship the product back to them and they were going to ship me a replacement bag. I sent the bag back and within 5 days of me sending my bag back, I received a brand new bag. The customer service was fast and no questions asked. They held up to the warranty and had speedy response time. I will be a repeat customer. "

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

"If i could award zero stars I would. I ordered a board, boots, and binding package from this website on the 20th of December. The deal was incredible, and I was excited. However, two days went by without even receiving a confirmation order. I emailed the website and asked them for an update, and shortly thereafter I received a confirmation order and an expected delivery date of 12/30, which was acceptable since I had planned on going on a snowboard trip for new year. On the 29th I get an email from RANDY saying that the board I ordered was out of stock, and asked if I wanted to choose a different one. Before I could answer his email, he sent another saying he was just going to refund my money - nevermind that he had wasted over a week of my life and I still didnt get a board for that trip. A week after I decided to try again. I ordered another package and expedited 3day shipping, but didn't receive my order until a week after I got confirmation. I received by board and realized it was the wrong size, so called and emailed multiple times to try and get a return or exchange, but NEVER got a response until after their 14day return policy had expired, and never got an apology for either occasion. TERRIBLE customer service, do not be swayed by cheap prices. you get what you pay for, and now I'm out hundreds of dollars because I have a board I cannot use."

I love my board! 1st class service.

"You guys made my season. I have boarded for 6 years and was never very happy with my gear. You helped me find the best size and shipped to me before Christmas. I just had the best snowboarding weekend of my life and feel like i have advanced more on this board than in the whole rest of my time riding. Thanks Wiredsport!"

"I recently purchased a snowboard package from wiredsport and was thrilled with the gear and how quickly they got the package to me. I received confirmation that it went out same day and got all my gear that week! "I ordered a helmet and goggles from Wired Sport hoping to wear them for an upcoming ski trip. After receiving my order, I noticed neither of my items were the color I ordered. I emailed the company; this is the only way to return an item. Not only was the responder rude but never once apologized for their mistake. Coming from the customer service industry, I know it is a big part of a company's image. I will not be ordering from them in the future. "

"Horrible experience. I ordered a board from them 4 days ago because it was just such a good deal compared to the local skishop. The board was last years model and half off. It says on website after ordering item will be shipped within 24 hours and confirmation after that. I waited two days then sent them email asking for progress report. Randy had advised me the board was being sent today and you receive confirmation soon. And I did about 3 hours later. The next day I check my email is randy apologizing saying that his mistake they don't even have that board anymore in there warehouses and if I wanted a different one. Didn't make sense to me why would they send confirmation of sending if they didn't even have a board to send. Then I noticed they charged 297.xx to my visa when they receipt said order total was 290.xx and the amount they refunded me was 290.xx. They stole 7 dollars from me. Do not order from this site SUPPORT YOU LOCAL SHOP THEY WONT SCREW YOU."
