Returning a wedding gift shouldn't be this hard... Amazon needs to stop these vendors.

"I am kind of relieved to see that there are SO MANY negative reviews on here. But I am also really really upset. Like so many people, we didn't open our wedding gifts until after the wedding, even those that arrived early. We registered for drinking glasses, cooler size and double old-fashioned size... when we opened them after our wedding two weeks ago, the cooler size glasses were shattered and the double-old fashioned were not the correct color. I have literally been through hell trying to replace these items. I started with Amazon customer service multiple times and it was hard to start the process without a return number so I went through hell to find that too. WineStuff said they were unable to help me without an order number. Finally, when I found it, I sent them a message. And then another... no response. An Amazon representative said that I could file a claim if I do not hear back in two days. I gave them one more day and kindly gave them my order number and then asked for a return label. Because of how long this whole process took, WineStuff cancelled my request for a replacement due to the return date being too late. Not only does that make no sense for registry gifts, but also, if I was helped correctly in the first place I wouldn't have been late. So, this is by far the worst company I have ever come across. I am personally contacting as many people at Amazon that I can since now I am unable to file a claim and I have documented everything from them. There is no way they should still be in business, especially with all of the other reviews and despite the item only being drinking glasses, for the sake of integrity, I WILL NOT drop this. I definitely feel like this company is either a scam or does not value customer service in ANY WAY. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!!!! "

The Worst Experience I Have Had In A Long Time

"There is literally nothing good I can say about this transaction from start to finish. They managed to "lose" the package between their warehouse and the shipper. Zero communication about that until I reached out. I was told 1-2 weeks to reship and 3 weeks later contacted them again only to be told 1-2 weeks to ship again. Instead of shipping the product (which was a wedding gift) like I asked, they refunded my money. I stated to them numerous times this was a wedding gift so I had no desire for a refund - just ship the item that I purchased. Instead of responding with any sort of reasonableness, I received an unsolicited refund nearly 5 weeks after my order. Now there is nothing left on the wedding registry to purchase and the bride and groom won't be getting an item on their registry list. I truly have never experienced such horrible customer service. If I could give them negative stars, I would. "

"Is it possible to give zero stars? This was the worst experience I've had with an online store of any kind.

The original order came late and incomplete. After several attempts at contacting the company, we were told the item was back ordered and would drop shipped in a few weeks. That never happened. After calling again, we were told the item was discontinued. This company never contacted us about this and would have kept our money. It took 2 weeks and several calls to finally get a refund for the missing items. Management was never involved and refused to speak with us about the refund request or a full refund. The incompetent receptionist ended our last call by hanging up on me. This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

I hope this review helps Wine Stuff understand they can't continue treating customers this way or they will continue to lose business, but now after ready for other reviews online, it seems I'm not the only one.

"Worst company EVER! I ordered an item in December that was supposed to arrive for Xmas. When it didn't, I emailed on 12/25 and called asking for the order to be cancelled. Never heard from them, but sent another email on 12/31 confirming that I wanted to cancel my order. Nothing showed up on my credit card so I thought all was well.

Then on Jan 22, a full month after I placed my order (that was supposed to arrive for xmas) the item shows up and my credit card is charged. I've been fighting with them ever since because I cancelled this order (and forwarded copies of my emails as proof). They want me to pay to send it back before they'll credit my card. I shouldn't be out any money for their mistake! Calling and emails get nowhere. They just say sorry, there's nothing we can do.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Worst. Company. Ever!

ETA: I ended up calling my credit card company and since I had proof that I twice tried to cancel the order, and they said I could dispute the charge. I received a credit for the full amount of the item plus shipping on my most recent credit card statement.

"I ordered something for my boss for Xmas 2 weeks before Xmas and I was waiting and waiting and then finally I called (which I NEVER call businesses unless I truly feel like I need to) and the lady said It was a still in there warehouse. It was 3 days before Xmas I might add and then I said then I want to cancel the order because I obviously wont get it before Xmas and she's like yeah ummm we can't cancel orders once they've been processed but you can send it back. Im like why even send it for me to pay shipping if you never sent it out yet!! and she was a complete BIOTCH! so I hung up on her. Long story Short NEVER EVER order from this sight. I ended up buying another one from giftedgrapes.com and they sent it out within an hour of me ordering it. However even with me paying for the 2day shipping it still won't arrive until the day after Xmas :( I shouldn't have wasted so much time with stupid winestuff.com. I never write reviews on anything but I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy! "

"ALERT - Do not order from this store - or their sister site WineGlasses.com. They list items as "in stock" on the site - allowing orders to be placed - even allowing 2-3 expedited delivery options (at extra costs) - only to find out that the items are not in stock. Have spoken with two people there and they are clearly aware of their deceptive practice. A terribly run business."

"I ordered the product on October 20 and after three emails asking where my product was they admitted that they didn't put the order through. I asked them to overnight the item and they neglected to do that. Now my item is set to be delivered November 20. Poor customer service!!! I will not order from this site again. "

"I placed an order through Amazon to WineStuff for some beer glasses. WineStuff mistakenly filled the order with the wrong product. I live in Canada but the product was only available in the US. I have a US postal address that I gave to WineStuff to deliver to. After crossing the border to pick up my parcel I opened it at home to find the product was wrong. When I told WineStuff that my order was wrong and told them I would not return it because of the border hassle, they told me to keep the product I had received and they would fill the order again with the right product. I admire them for staying with me to make sure i was happy and that I finally got the right product. I will certainly feel confident to place orders with them in the future, knowing that customer satisfaction is a top priority to them."

"I ordered through amazon and kept getting payment declined e-mails over the period of several days. I then received an e-mail from winestuff stating that they've supply issues and now the shipment is on the way.

I e-mailed them back stating I assumed it was cancelled since I received numerous payment declined e-mails and that I went to an actual store to purchase the glasses.

I sent an unsatisfactory e-mail stating how poor the company was for not properly notifying me and going through so many different e-mails stating it was declined. I cursed in the e-mail and then next thing I know they're condescendingly telling they're sorry but won't put up cursing and offensive language. I told them they're adults and they screwed up the order and now I have to go through all the hoops to return it.

Awful e-mail correspondence and obviously poor tactics for getting their products out. Never will I order anything from this company again after all of this.

"I ordered a biscuit(cookie) press on Nov. 30, 2013 from Winestuff thruAmazon.com. The website said that there was inventory for this product. On Dec. 2nd I received an e-mail from Winestuff thru Amazon that they had no inventory. The e-mail stated that they would be able to ship my order within a few days. A few hours later Amazon.com sent me an e-mail that my order had been SHIPPED! I called Winstuff.com on Dec. 3rd. They told me that when they go to process the order that a UPS label was created, and that the order hadn't shipped. I was assured that they would have product to fulfill my order by Dec. 6th. I contacted Winestuff again on Dec. 7 and was told that they had not received anymore inventory to ship my order. I then told them to cancel my order. Imagine my surprise when less than 4 hours later I got an e-mail from Amazon.com that my cancelled order had shipped!!!! I contacted Amazon.com on this matter, and they were very helpful, and cancelled my order, and refunded my credit card. About a week later UPS delivered my cancelled order to me. I tried calling Winestuff about this. After a few tries to get a human being to answer my call, I finally got thru on Dec. 30, 2013. I asked them what I was supposed to do with my cancelled order that was shipped to me anyway, and was told to KEEP the item. Amazingly enough I got an e-mail from Amazon.com a few hours later saying that if I had received this order to check a box on the e-mail so that I could be charged for the cancelled order that Winestuff had told me to keep! There was also another e-mail from Winestuff with a return shipper label to send the order back to Winestuff! In order to be able to make our Christmas cookies as gifts for friends, and family all over the country, we drove a 185 MILE round trip to get this press at the closest local dealer on Dec. 7 the day we cancelled the order. I have been deceived, lied to by Winestuff, wasted a half day drive of 185 miles to get the product that Winestuff said they had, and then had to waste more of my time to get this item to a UPS shipper to return this item to them! The order was received by them today the 9th of Jan. 2013. Personally I hope that they choke on it! I now feel that I didn't do my due diligence when I ordered this, because I felt that Amazon.com would not allow themselves to deal with companies with a poor record of customer satisfaction.I have used Resellerratings.com ever since I discovered this website years ago, and I have felt that I have saved myself a lot of hassles with online vendors by checking this website. Hopefully I have learned to be more diligent checking sellers on this website so that I won't have to go through this FUBAR again!"

"I can top the similar bad reviews below. I placed an order for a Father's Day gift. They emailed me and said it was unavailable, writing that my order was cancelled and my credit card would not be charged.

Then, they reinstated the order WITHOUT ASKING OR TELLING ME, and charged my credit card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION! They sent out the gift, but by that time, I has ordered something else. When I finally figured out what happened, they took no responsibility at all for the misuse of my credit card. They were absolutely infuriarating to deal with and I would avoid this company at all costs, especially IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE SECURITY OF YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!

"This place is a NIGHTMARE. Do not order from them. They take a WEEK just to process the order then shipping is 10 business days AFTER. If you have 3 weeks to wait for your order, which nobody does, then you should be fine. The people that work there are not helpful. When I asked to cancel my order bc I will no longer be at the address since I am moving out of state, the lady said "No". Lesson learned. I will NEVER order from this horrible company again. I think one person works there and thats it. "

"Simple order something online defective send it back for refund or exchange right? WRONG not with this company I received a damaged product ordered in Nov 2012 returned defective product within (1 week). today is April 14,2013 . 50 or so calls later and no refund for $49.99, FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE! Someone could run this business out of a PORTA-JOHN better.
Next time I might just flush a $50 down the toilet, at least id know where it went.

"Winestuff does not care; their customer disservice department will not give a refund for a damaged product without my paying for return shipping. Seller packed fragile items in a plastic bag; they were easily broken in shipping. We even contacted them before the order, asking them to package it better, and they completely ignored our request. If you have not ordered from Winestuff, do not! Google BBB online for more details on the terrible customer service from this company."

"I ordered 4 Riedel glasses and 6 Spiegelau port glasses from Winestuff online. Then I called them to see if I could get the port glasses by a certain date - I really needed them. They said probably not. I asked to cancel the order. They said I couldn't do that, it was against their policy. Then I got an email that the order had shipped and was complete. When I got it, there were no port glasses. So I called them and they said, "Oh, we can't get them, so we cancelled that part of the order." I asked why they hadn't informed me, and they said they just hadn't gotten around to it.

This is the worst mail order service I have experienced ever. And I do a lot of mail order.
