"I ordered the new Garmin Nuvi 770 GPS unit. The con starts after you place an internet order and they send a msg to call customer before they can ship. They entice you to order from them based on offering the lowest price. After reaching customer service they state the uniot has a 2 year old map and it will cost 90.00 to upgrade.by the way garmin does not sell this unit with a map with the 2006 map. What a scam.... then they offer memory at triple the street cost. it just never ends ....DO NOT BUY FROM THIS OR THE RELATED COMPANIES "

"After order taken received an e-mail to verify billing / shipping address; "no it's all fine, we would like to recommend that you add" ... sales tool, after I told them I did not want to order additional stuff they got very short and hung up on me! Oh yes ... I had to wait over 10 minutes on hold waiting to verify the information. After a week I check to find out why the item has not shipped ... its on backorder. I e-mailed them ... twice ... nothing. So reluctantly I called knowing I would have to wait. Finally I am told the item I ordered was the Japanese camera with Jap plugs manual etc which was on backorder (why would I want that camera??? ... I certainly did not order that one). They had the American one on the shelf for $130 more ... would I like it? ! I asked the sales rep where it said I had brought the Japanese camera on their website. He said it was there under Company Info .... I have yet to find it and if you look for a Canon FS11 on their website the price applies not to the American one. I had the website open when I was talking to the sales rep and wherever he told me it was clearly indicated it was a foreign item I checked and it was not there. I told them this was deceptive and they got very defensive and unpleasant. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

The only thing 'good' was I received an e-mail canceling the order. I will check my card statements carefully as nothing about these people is honest, straight forward or should be taken at face value. Luckily most of the internet sellers are reputable ... or at least care about their reputation.

One more thing ... I told the rep I would not take his US camera but look around for a better price. He told me good luck as they own 15 such electronic websites under different names ... not sure of this, but scary if true.

"Not at all happy.

WildDigital low-balls the price on the web. After you order they send you email to contact becauee "We are required to speak to you in order to verify your billing information". You are connected to some guy who very aggressively tries to upsell you on various stuff. Given the stuff they were trying to upsell me on and the original price, my impression is that that they take accessories out of the box.

I ended up trying to cancel my order. Unfortunately it was "already shipped" and now I would have to pay a restocking fee.

Stay away from these people. They are not honest.

"This is a scam business...please be aware of it. The customer service number will never be picked, and even if it is picked you will tranferred to a dead end. I ordered a camera from this site and wanted to expedite the shipping and was not able to do it by even calling them 10 times. I will have to dispute the charge in case they ship it. They are partnered with Broadway photo and seems like brooklyn, NY based. Please do not use this site.....I have warned you."

"These people are scam artists. BEWARE. Typical low ball price bait and switch. I should know better that if a price is too good to be true, it is. When I ordered a Canon D9 camera, all seemed well. Then I got an e-mail saying I had to call to confirm address info. No big deal. Well, the hard sell started as soon as the clown finally answered the phone. Ove r priced batteries, chargers, on and on. Pretty soom the price quoted was double what was advertised. I requested to just buy the base camera with what should be included. Two days later another e-mail. Now a problem with a backorder. I call them and pose as a new buyer. They say they have it in stock. I challenge them as to why it is backordered. This crook proceeds to tell me the camera I ordered was the Japanese model and everything is in Japanese. After a few choice words I cancelled the order, paid more with a reputable company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! If you see positive reviews, it's probably those swine at Wild Digital writing them."

"I have ordered a SONY Handycam HDR-CX7 Memory Stick PRO Duo Camcorder and I reveived an email from them to call them to verify my billing information. I called June 9th and It told me that they were on Holidays between June 9th - June 10th and will be back on June 11th (like they deserved a holiday). I then waited unpatiently for my camcorder.

I finally called June 11th 9am in the morning. Waited for someone to pick it up for almost 30 mins. I finally get a person and they asked me about buying the camcorder with ad ons. Told me that the battery lasted 15 mins and asked me to order a special 4hr battery for only $189. After I said cancel, he called me a MORON and hanged up...

Like the other reviews here don't shop or trust wilddigital at all!!!

"I should have reviewed the store before even attempting to purchase a product from them. As stated below, they used the same bait and switch tactics on a confirmation call when verifying a different shipping address. Ordered an Infocus IN-37 projector and they started with:

* Do you want a mounting bracket?
* Do you want extra lenses
* Do you want more warranty?
Then asked if I wanted a bulb for the projector? WHAT?!? I thought a bulb comes factory? I pointed out to the customer service rep that they don't advertise the projector without a bulb on their webpage. And even if they did, there were no packages additional to get the bulb added... Customer support was very short and hung up on me. Needless to say, I canceled my order. Shady, very shady!

"This vendor is terrible and I would never consider purchasing from them again. They advertise their products falsely and employ the bait-and-switch tactic. I ordered a Nikon D80 with 18-55mm VR lens and got an email asking to call them to confirm billing address. The representative tried to sell me an extended battery and warranties, which I kindly declined. He then informed me that the camera is a Japanese modelf and if I wanted the US model it would "only" be $200 more. None of this was ever disclosed on their site when I was placing my order, and when I expressed this, he acted as if it was no big deal and that's just how they operate. I quickly cancelled the order and told him that I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for unethical business practices and false advertising."

"Terrible service. Very dificult to contact customer service because of heavy congestion and hours of operation are few compared to other merchants.
My order was placed 5/21/08 and, allthough promised in 2 days because of a photo trip, I still don't have it and had to leave on the 5/31/08. @nd day shipping was paid.
I have talked several times with them and always the lens was promised for the next day. I think they don't have it in stock but don't want to loose the sale.
Lies and deceptive tactics seem to be their politic.

"Stay away from this seller. Tried bait and switch tactics on confirmation call, claimed item I ordered was not as I expected it would be: mfg for foreign market. I cancelled order in the phone call, we will see if they honor the cancellation. This is the second questionable seller I have come across using Shopping.Yahoo.com. I would recommend staying away from them too, it seems they do no screening of their sellers."

"Wild Digital is the worst on line shopping experience I have ever had. They are scam artist and will try to reap you off. There are hidden charges such as they say free shipping and charge you $60 dollars for a stocking fee. They will send you an email and ask you to call in to confirm your order and try to sell you more stuff telling you "oh that camera will not work with your old card". I could go on and on but I will just say DO NOT USE WILD DIGITAL !!! "

"I will never think about ordering from them again. THey pulled the bait and switch and tried to sell extra batteries and what not. I agreed to go with the "US Retail Version". I received the Bait. Called them up and they were not understanding at all.

"Do not buy from this company. The sales rep are very rude over the phone. When you call to confirm they try to sell you other products. I canceled an order and still received the shipment. Even though I talked to someone and canceled it. I called back and they put the blame on me. Stay away from them. "

"This place screwed me. I ordered a Canon EOS 5D at 12:00pm, to be shipped overnight for an event the next day. I bought from them b/c their prices were far better than B&H, where I bought my lens and accessories. I was assured that the camera would arrive on time, and I prepared everything else, charging the extra battery I had purchased the night before. When I arrived at work, an email was awaiting me (from 5am) stating that my Camera was now backordered.

I have an event, a lens, a lens filter, a flash, and a charged battery, but no camera. "No Hard Feelings," said Eric at Extension 242.

"Tried to place an order for a Sigma Normal 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM Autofocus Lens for Nikon Digital SLR. Tried to charge extra for a lens hood which is supposed to be included with the camera. Also tried to sell a lens filter kit for an extra $150 dollars as well as an extra charge for a warranty, which is all supposed to be included.

Immediately cancelled the order.
