"Buyer Beware!
Wholesale Furniture Brokers (gowfb.com), a British Columbia, Canada, based company does not always resolve problems its customers have with their service or product. Check other websites for complaints and CAREFULLY review the return and claim procedures before you order from Wholesale Furniture Brokers (gowfb.com).
I ordered and paid $800 for a platform bed Oct 22/10, waited 3 months for Wholesale Furniture Brokers (gowfb.com) to deliver it only to find it was the wrong model. They shipped a captains bed. The platform bed was delivered in January 2011 but with the storage bed legs. I demanded a refund from Wholesale Furniture Brokers (gowfb.com) February 1/11. It is now 5+ months (March 27/11) since I ordered the bed and after numerous demands for a refund, still have the bed (with the incorrect legs) and no resolution offered by Wholesale Furniture Brokers (gowfb.com).
There are similar problems posted at other websites.
May 23/2011. My problem is now going into it's EIGHTH month and still not resolved. I had to give up on asking for a refund because Wholesale Furniture Brokers would not refund the money without me returning the 2 beds first. I thought that given their past performance that was a bad idea. Then they'd have my money and the beds.In an effort to resolve this issue and get all of the cartons out of my living room, I arranged for my sister to buy the bed from me and had the captain's bed shipped back to WFB. About a week later I received the replacement legs for the platform bed and THEY ARE THE STORAGE BED LEGS and cannot be used on the platform bed. The error was acknowledged by the furniture company and they advised another 4-6 weeks delivery for the correct legs to arrive. Other than a brief apology and saying they are confused by the situation, Wholesale Furniture Brokers has not communicated with me to advise of any action on their part. I requested that they intervene with the furniture supplier to have a platform bed box opened and the correct legs removed from it and shipped immediately but no response. Guess I'm just supposed to wait 4-6 weeks. AGAIN. At no time during the 8 months has Wholesale Furniture Brokers made any effort to correct this problem. I am always the one to initiate any action.
JULY 27, 2011 - Have FINALLY received a refund.
