"First off, the customer service I experienced was below average. I called multiple times to check on the status of my order and it would take over 24 hours, one point a week to respond back in some way or another. Not that big of a deal, but the worst was once I received my portrait. The picture was not what I sent it. I sent in a picture of me and my fiancé at the beach overlooking the ocean, what I received was a blank white canvas with our picture on it. It looks like a joke. $125 later I have a 24x20 picture that has no meaning or character to it. Looks like it came out of a coloring book on white paper. Thanks a lot!"

"We three sisters live in New Orleans and our Mom had a charcoal portrait done of us together...years ago by an artist downtown at Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Many times over the years, she expressed how much she would love an updated version.
Three busy daughters became three busy mothers and our Mom grew older too. Time was hard to come by and time to go to an artist together at the holiday season was even harder. So the gift idea was pushed off from one year to the next for almost too long.
This year, Mom was enrolling for hospice services during the holidays and time to break free from sitting with her for us three sisters to have the portrait done was impossible! But, we were told it could be her last Christmas and simply could not push it off any longer.
We were happy to find Whataportrait and that an original charcoal portrait (of significant size) of all three sisters could be done with a simple upload of photographs online! The prices were affordable and the production time was fast! This year...even with all of the added stresses...they would help us get it done!
The customer service was splendid and the first review came by email quickly. Our singular photos had been blended into a beautiful group portrait that could not have been better had e sat in a studio downtown for hours!
Simple revisions were completed and delivery was swift. The package arrived, was framed and became the highlight of our family holiday gathering at Christmas. There is very little that we three sisters agree on, back then or now, but each of us would highly recommend Whataportrait and will probably use their artistry services again.
