"Needed a set of 2-way radios for a trip to Chile. It was a very important purchase for this trip and ordered them online from Westcoastmall.net. Immediately confirmed that the items would ship out same day with the company - on the 3 day air mail that I paid extra for. They confirmed positive.
3 days later (Monday), I received and email that the item just shipped out to me. The company offered nothing material to get a replacement out to me sooner.
I said that it was really important that I have the 2-way radios. That theirs were now scheduled to arrive on the day that I was leaving (assuming that they showed up on time). My getting them depended on what time of the day UPS delivered them.
The company had said I could get a refund. When I said that I would likely order from another store because I could not take the risk of their not arriving in time, the company said that in that case, THEY COULD NOT offer a refund.
Seriously? Not only did they deliver as promised, but they are real jerks."
"Wow these guys are good! They process the order and ship it out same day, and it's in a reasonably-sized box. Good prices and an easy to navigate website too. I wish they sold more stuff!"
"Super fast customer service. I ordered an antenna mount with a certain kind of connection, but it wasn't in stock, however, they did have all the components to build one myself. They called just hours after I placed my order, asked me if I wanted to wait or build (I built) and they threw my stuff in the mail as I was on the phone.
They did get one item wrong, and when I called about it they tried to convince me to keep the incorrect item. I did not want to do that, so they offered an exchange (they paid for all the shipping). It's has taken forever for the exchange process, but over all I'm still pretty happy with them. This would not sway me from ordering again. I just hope I don't have to exchange anything with them again."
