"It's a little premature to try to rate an insurance product at the time of purchase, given that the time to really assess whether an insurance product delivers is at the time of a claim. With that said, I hope we NEVER HAVE TO FILE A CLAIM, and that all aspects of my daughter's wedding go off without a hitch. It was easy enough to follow the prompts on the WedSafe website and purchase the necessary liability and cancellation coverages that we needed. Also, the pricing was right in line with every other product I was finding out there (but see my note below on how the "different insurers" really seem to be the same company just operating in different names). The website was clear and easy to follow. The coverage is straightforward. The coverage documents arrived very quickly. Overall, I'm pleased.

NOTE: Most of these companies seem to be affiliated. I found a helpful Fortune magazine article that summarized the ins and outs of event insurance. It listed the notable insurers on the market as follows--1. Event insurance (reunions, graduation parties, etc.): K&K Insurance; Markel; Travelers; West Bend Mutual, and 2. Wedding insurance: Markel; Travelers; WedSafe; Wedsure. I ended up going with WedSafe, but when I received my policy documents, I noticed that they were underwritten or in the name of K&K and/or Markel, as well. "
