In addition to what I have already done, I can tell you that I will go to major extremes to make certain my property is returned to me immediately. "My watch was sent for repair, and paid in advance. After more than two months of complete silence from the company, I began to send emails inquiring into the status of the repairs. I was told alternatingly -- that watch repairs were complete, and the item was being sent to the shipping department -- and that "finishing touches" were still required, necessitating one or two more weeks for completion. After 6 weeks of such stories being alternatingly conveyed (repairs are done/ repairs need 1-2 more weeks), two emails were sent to the supervisor (Randy) asking for clarification, which were ignored. A phone message left for Randy was ignored. When I requested a cessation of all work on my watch and an immediate return of the item, this request was denied."

"Pros: They do good work. They have a new President of their company and I expect that he’ll turn things around. I worked with him years ago and he’s top-notch. He’s only been there since February 2019 so I’d wait if I were you before you send them your time piece.

Cons: Sent my watch in to be restored and was told that it would take 5 months. I got it back 7 months later and the second hand was broken. I called, they blamed it on UPS and I sent it back. Two months later after some very very poor customer service I emailed the President of the company and he got involved. Once he got involved it was shipped in a matter of days. They are expensive. They will not keep a deadline. They have horrible customer service. They are poor communicators.

Again….I have high hopes for this place. I’ve got several time pieces that I’d like to send to them but I’m going to wait until the new President cleans house. If I were you I’d wait as well.

I love my Festina which is over 15 years old. I received it today looking like new and working perfectly. I am thrilled!"

waited weeks at a time in between my inquiries to get any responses. Those were automated and false updates. Repeats and retractions. They changed estimate info multiple times, claimed parts delays. They later claimed they needed to use substitute parts ( and non-original material???) then changed that answer again in an unrealistic time frame because I requested the return of my watch. No definitive or honest answers oN ANYTHING. Finally received my watch back with the same dead battery and chipped face because of the horrid shady communications I received with no results. Paid them to send my watch back finally ( payment was already made ) so eventually I received it back.

Never again. Do NOT recommend. "

"My Grandmother's gold Elgin pocket watch has been in the family since it was purchased new in 1877. Over the years litte attention has been paid to its operating condition, just a little light cleaning of the case once in a while.

I thought it would be nice to get it back into its original operating condition and Watch Repairs seemed to be the most highly recommended company to entrust it to.

The recommendations were right. From providing a free shipping label to send the watch, to providing email updates for every step taken, I was never in doubt as to what was being done at any one time and that the watch was being handled with the care it deserved.

When the watch was returned, I couldn't have been more pleased. Although the watch is 142 years old, it has been cleaned and polished and now looks like it must have looked the day it left the factory.

As important as the way it looks, it also operates like a new watch should. The timing adjustment is as close to perfect as can be expected. I now have a new watch that hopefully will last another 100+ years for several more generations to enjoy.

"I am more than satisfied with the work done by Watch Repairs USA on my 30 year old Rado Diastar watch. In addition to cleaning, oiling, replacing the gasket & battery, the circuit board was replaced and the quartz motor was repaired & finally it was calibrated and cleaned.

The cost was comparable to similar work done in the past by others.

I was kept informed via email of progress and the total time taken of about 6 weeks was reasonable.

I would use Watch Repairs USA again and based on my experience would highly recommend them.
