Slow Response and Poor Customer Service

"About 4 months ago I ordered 2 replacement ballast bags for my Tige boat since I was told by the manufacturer that Wakemakers supplies the replacement. Not only did it take over 2 months to receive the bags, they did not keep any sort of consistent contact with me. I had to call them whenever I wanted an update which included sitting on the phone for hours and eventually trying every random extension just so I could reach someone. Two weeks ago I made the mistake of ordering some ballast hose and clamps from them in hopes that this experience would be different. As I am writing this, I still have not received the product. I called them a week after I had placed the order and to my surprise, I was actually able to speak to someone who told me that they were shipping my order out immediately. I would avoid Wakemakers at all costs. They don't care about their customers and are fine taking your money and making you wait. "

Horrible Experience - Product doesn't work, refuse to do anything to correct it or refund my money.

"Terrible experience and awful customer service. The return policy on the item we bought, is totally different from the true policy. The ballast bag that was made specifically for our boat, doesn't work. it make the wave drastically worse, and actually made the boat take on water. Return policy shouldn't even matter when the product doesn't do anything that it is intended to do. I emailed them as the return policy when you click it from the product I ordered was very vague and doesn't say that it can't be in brand new unused condition. They won't even return phone calls, they just email and state they won't take it back. Now I have a $650 ballast bag, that is useless. When I called they said they would let me return with a 25% restocking fee, but right after I get an email just saying they are sorry they can't return it and send me a totally different return policy than the one that was linked to the item. They are deceptive, sell garbage ballast bags that make the wave worse (and makes the boat take on water, and I bought the bag that stated it was made specifically for my boat. Find someone who will stand behind their products, there are plenty of good companies out there, but this is not one of them. Their customer service is some of the worst I have seen.

I'd read their reviews on here, Facebook and Reseller Ratings before you purchase from them. If you buy from them, I'd be 100% sure that you know it will work as intended as this place won't stand behind it, that's for sure.

"Ripped me off then gave false tracking info to paypal. Luckily I was able to prove they stole the tracking number from amazon. Stay away from these dicks!"

STAY AWAY CHEATS IN MY OPNION SCAM

"In my opnion you guys are criminals. I paid over 28 dollars for 3 day shipping and placed my order over 2 weeks ago and have not heard one word from your company took approx. $300.00 and have not communicated or informed me of one thing in two weeks. Refund 100% of my money immediately "

Didn't refund my return

"I bought a life vest that was too small. I returned it with the RMA return number on the retutn label and paid for the return shipping. They lost me package. Said they had a 'whole pile of boxes' they were sorting through. I never received a refund for my return. They never called me back either. "

"My expierence with wakemakers wasn't up to par. I ordered 4 sacs and a pump over a week ago and still haven't received anything. My order was drop shipped from fly high to get here "quicker" but I don't have a tracking number for it. (I've called wakemakers twice for one) I even called fly high and they said wakemakers should have no problem getting a number and that they couldn't look it up. Needless to say, I'm tired of getting the "run around" and won't be doing business with them again. Even thinking about shipping them back to them as soon as I receive them!"
