"I purchased from this company in 10.09.2013 after a month I started emailing where my product was..was told at first that it was out of stock and on back order, then when I asked for refund was advised it was back in stock and ready to be sent then 3.10.13, and several more emails trace put on my order apparently 28.12.13. told on the 29.1.14 it was still in customs, then after demanding a refund was told on the 11.4.14 that because of the shipping method I chose they could not track my order and they were not responsible, so once I advised I would be taking matters further on the 16.4.14 they advised they would get shipping company to conduct another trace, so here we are June 2015 20 emails later minus almost $60 and nothing, what a rip off bunch of frauds you are"

"i was looking for a particular product that i could only find at vitacart so i was happy about that
a month later i still hadn't received it
then i got a shipping notification
i emailed 3 times to ask what had happened and received no response
i called and had to wait and wait for the agent to pick up
i told her how unhappy i was because on their website it said orders would be shipped in 2-3 days
she said my order was lost in transit and a replacement had been sent out this week
i asked her how that could be since i this was the first shipping notification i had received
she refused to address this - she just kept repeating the order lost in transit 'explanation'
i told her that i was now unhappier since it sounded like she was lying - that there was no record in my email box on in my account at their website of my order having been sent out before this week
this is such an unusual online shopping experience that i felt compelled to write
i contemplated returning my order but could not imagine that working out well
half an hour after this phone call i received an email apologizing for the delay "Your order was shipped out late is because we were waiting for one product from the manufacturer. This order will get delivered to you by Saturday or Monday. Once again sorry for long delay and inconvenience in this matter."
what a shame they hadn't
a) let me know up front that the product wasn't in stock or
b) informed me by email within 2-3 days of my order
c) responded to my first or second email
d) told me the truth when i finally got through by phone
this company needs a customer service transformation

"I bought a product from cart on the 12th of June and I was charged the instant I entered my credit card details. It was pending shipment for a while till I got a message asking for the front and back of my credit card and a photo I.D which I did (hiding my details of course). Later a small amount was debited to my account which I had to confirm the amount with a reply and I did. Then I received a mail saying my credit card had been declined this is because it's a debit card and I hadn't put any money in the account. I found it unusual that they would want to charge me again for the same product, so i contacted them and they said it wasn't a real charge the first time but the money was still missing from my account. Two days later money was paid into my account by my work and I was charged that same day for the same product again. I was very shocked given the numerous emails I had sent to complain about this. On getting the message that vitacart had charged me, I sent them a mail requesting to cancel the order and give me a refund ( just a few minutes ago). I'm yet to hear anything. To summarise, shopping with vitacart has been terrible experience for me. The product plus shipping cost $55.79 and I have paid twice for it. I saw the reviews on vitacart which were mostly negative a little too late. Had I known they say is always at last. "

"I discovered Vitacart.com while I was searching online for a particular product that I have been having a vary hard time finding. When I saw that they had the product, in stock and at a vary reasonable price I ordered immediately. Several days later I notice that I hadn't received a shipping confirmation and my bank account showed the order was still on hold. Wondering why it was taking so long to process my order I emailed Vitacart to see what the deal was. They got back to me quickly and said that they had had just heard from the retailer that my item was coming from and my item was no longer in stock. First; is it a coincidence that they happen to hear from the retailer the day I email them, or was that just a big fat lie? Second; im getting this information 3-5 days after I had placed the order that they were telling me was, in fact, in stock at the time. Third; is is so hard to keep track of the inventory that you offer? No matter if it was the retailers fault or Vitacart.coms fault, this should no have happened. I am greatly disappointed and I recieved no apology whatsoever which is just crappy. I never felt vary comfortable with the checkout process either. Its seemed a little sketchy..... Anyhow, thats my beef with Vitacart.com. Take it or leave it..."

"My first dealing with Vitacart. Found exactly what I wanted. I am from Australia and found the postage details a bit misleading. Had to pay slightly more than I had thought was the rate. In any event it turned out to be cheaper than what I could get in Australia. I will certainly be looking at Vitacart for more items in the future"

"I placed an order with this company about 2 weeks ago. I received an e-mail stating that there was "no tracking number available". I called today to check on my order status and was hung up on by "Andy" the person that claimed to be the manager and spoken to so rudely. I cancelled my order and when I told the manager that his customer service was poor and that I would be sure to let others know he said "do what you want" and hung up a second time. I have NEVER been treated so poorly and advise buyers to BEWARE of this company!"
