All cost; no benefit

"I was advised to purchase venting pipe for my wood stove from this reseller by Duravent's tech department. Duravent advised me to purchase more than I needed for my project and now I'm stuck with a nearly $300 pipe I can no longer use. The installer dragged their feet on the whole project which went beyond the return window which is only 30 days. Their blanket policy makes no exceptions and I have spent thousands of dollars and too many hours in the process between Duravent ill-advising me and this middle-man draining my bank. The purpose of their policy seems to be to encourage waste and reduces customer loyalty.

This service was one recommended to me by the manufacturer of a stove that I purchased and Duravent's tech department. I will make sure they are aware of this policy and not to recommend it to others. This process has been nothing but a hassle. Please never use them.
