"Velocity Tech Solutions doesn't come up in Google search results when searching for Dell parts, but I'm glad I didn't go with those other vendors. They provided me with fast and friendly service over the phone, gave me several shipping options and received the item as promised. All parts were new and worked perfectly! Other vendors had decent reviews, but all had shady customer service and several unresolved customer complaints according to BBB. "

"On Jan 27(Friday), one of our clients had a power supply failure in their server (read: out of business!). We contacted DELL in an attempt to get the part, and were told we'd have a reply with 3 days (!) as to whether or not the "warranty supply warehouse" would release one of the 3 they had, since the 'regular' supply warehouse had 0 units available.
Well, since that wasn't good enough for the service we're used to providing for our clients, we went for broke and did a Google search which turned up this company we'd never heard of - Velocity Tech Solutions. I was connected to really nice lady, Anne Tarantino, who I could tell right off really knew her stuff. After speaking with Anne, I felt comfortable with doing business 'blind', and she arranged for the part to be delivered next day by 1:30 pm via FedEx. The part actually arrived here (California) from Minneapolis the next morning by 10am, and I had the server back up and running like new 30 minutes later. And... including the $70+ shipping charge, the whole invoice was still over $100 less than DELL quoted me, assuming they were going to be kind enough to even allow me to BUY the part.
Incidentally, as I write this on Feb 8th, DELL still has not even given me an answer of any kind or even contacted me again. Great customer service... ?!?
Anne was a pleasure and a professional to deal with, and that degree of customer service will have me calling her number before I even DO a Google search next time!
