"Overall a very disappoiting & frustrating experience with VegasCart.
As I needed to use the product urgently, I ordered it on the more expensive "expedited International" delivery order with some anxieties about on-line purchases. Almost 3weeks later there was no delivery & after much email enquiring about delivery status (with no response forthcoming), a response finally came and they agreed to a full refund which I am still waiting after 2weeks. Vendor was almost non responsive, did not try to update or explain the delivery problem nor did it try to placate the customer for their lack of service, response, very poor communication of problem & inconveniences caused ...

The .ca site had so many errors and problems that at first I suspected they were a phishing scam, until I confirmed their security ratings.

It took several tries to reach a real person on their phone number. They were very pleasant and helpful, however...

When I went to their .com site the free shipping for orders over $100 would not apply to Canada. It says they do but they don't. They do not have any business structure in Canada... only the .ca website. There was not even a discount for shipping to Canada equivalent to the benefit US customers get from the free shipping offer. Also, I assume that they insist on shipping options that include insurance & tracking, since the shipping costs to Canada are wwaaayyyy more than the same product shipped from a US seller on eBay. In the end I found it worthwhile to purchase their download option as no shipping is required, however, it appears they charge about $5 more for the download than they charge for the same retail product when it is physically mailed. Since the time & effort... to open the product, scan-and-email the activation number and then file or throw away the product... is about the same as wrapping & mailing, I can only assume that Canadian customers are considered to have more money to spend.

I did not want to install right away so I wanted the physical product, unopened. Due to download with the opened & emailed activation number, I entered the new number right away to confirm the validity of the product. Norton did not add 365 days to my 63 remaining days, they registered it as a new install even though it was the identical product and all I did was enter the new, unused activation key. I had to phone Norton to get my proper total days. Since they did the same thing to me 2 years ago I was naturally upset and accused them of deliberately not fixing this problem since most people would renew with less days remaining and would not even notice if they lost a week or so. Purchasing a renewal direct from Norton is the only way for the days to update automatically.

The bottom line... VegasCart has some work to do to their .ca website to get it running properly and accurately for Canadians. I would like to see better shipping rates to Canada for the physical, retail products (at the least a better combined rate for multiple purchases). Regardless, for now, I will add them to my 'Favorites' list."
