"Our company has been with Valutec since June of 2006. They charged us an additional $50 (unauthorized) service fee last year, which we disputed, and were told that there was nothing they could do. We already pay a monthly fee, in addition to the costs ($695) of setting up our account and paying for the gift cards.

This month they charged us an additional $75 fee, and when we tried repeatedly to call customer service, we were routed to an automatic voice mail which asked for our contact info so they could call us back. They never did call. I finally got a live person today, who gave me an email address to voice my complaint.

I emailed them about my experience, and told them we would be canceling our account with them this month. I asked for a refund of the unauthorized charge. In response, I received an email saying they had immediately canceled our account. We have paid for the month, and there are still 10 days left, so now we are not able to process customers' transactions using the cards we purchased from them.

To add insult to injury, the extra $75 fee for this year (January 2015) is not able to be refunded to us because Lori at Valutec quickly canceled our account, knowing that we would not be able to receive a refund to a closed account. She could have tried to communicate with me and resolve the issue, but instead, she just quickly closed our account so no refund could be issued, according to her latest email.

This is customer service at it's worst. Do not use Valutec!
