"Rip off company. UPDATE 5-14-13, SENT MY CLAIM TO A COLLECTION AGENCY AND JUST LEARNED THAT USEDPHONES.COM HAS FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. DON'T BUY OR SELL WITH THIS COMPANY. Sent them a phone system in October 2012 and have called them 16 times to request status of payment. Since late 2012 they keep telling me they will pay half at a time and will make 1st payment in January. Never happened. Now I find it hard to get them to answer my calls. I end up in the owners voice mail. "

"I purchased two Operator Consoles. They said they were in stock. They never arrived. I had to call the company and they told me they did not have them and they would refund my money. They never did. I called back a week later and was told it is still sitting on the owners desk for the refund and was told it should be done soon. Another week, still sitting on his desk. No refund. Filed a better business complaint. They have an F rating. Beware!"

I entered in to an agreement with Usedphones.com back in 2003, and sent them about 27 large boxes of equipment. At the time, their web site stated that they arranged pick up, which they refused to do for me. They also stated that they paid for shipping, when what they really do is let you pay, then supposedly pay you back. Considering that they still owe me money on this purchase order, it's a good thing I got them to finally give me a UPS number!
They received all of the equipment, then went silent for a few months before finally getting back to me...with a payment plan. That was OK with me, until they stopped sending checks. When I contacted them, they claimed economic impact. I was inclined to be at least understanding about it, but the condition went on for months. Further communication was ignored, until I filed a complaint with the BBB.
Finally, they deigned to respond to me, sent a few more checks, then stopped again. The lack of response to communication continued after this, until, after at least a year of silence, I got a response promising me payment. Then, another year or so of silence. Finally, after over a year and a half more of no responses, they replied to one of my emails with a request for my Paypal information. I supplied it, and heard no more for a few more months. More fuitless communications were finally met with an offer for half of the amount still owed. I decided that I had been more than considerate of possible economic issues, and felt that after all this, they should honor their PO and their promise.
Haven't heard a thing from them since. I'm sure if I owed them money, they'd be all over me with demands, but evidently they don't have to live by their own PO terms, much less their promises.
Feel free to do business with them, but be prepared for delays, excuses, broken promises, silence, and attempts to undercut their own agreed upon prices if you're selling equipment to them."

The people I talked to on the phone were very helpful and when I had a question about the phone that they couldn't answer they found someone else who could. "Wow! What a fast and easy experience it was to work with the folks at Usedphones.com. I broke my Blackberry holster on Tuesday evening and found the replacement on Wednesday. I couldn't beat the price, unless someone was giving them away. All I did was search for the model number and plastic holster. That took me to a shopping site with many listed merchants. The other prices were good, ranging from $4 - $30, but when I saw the Usedphones.com price of $1.99, I didn't need to go any further. I ordered two! The online order forms were easy to fill out and the auto response of receipt of my order was in my inbox before I closed my browser.
