"Beware if you try to cancel
Order started well - made sure all in stock so ordered over $1,000 in snow gear. Coat turned out to be unavail, so they emailed saying holding order and asked what we wanted to do. We said cancel all (2 orders)-we will find local as we wanted items to match - they said no problem for both orders; but would take a couple days as their folks in mtg out of the office. Then THEY SHIPPED AND CHARGED THE $1000+! Of course we didn't know this, and went and bought local the same... Because their Cust Svc said they cancelled; now it is weeks before I can return the items and get our $1000+ back - plus the aggravation of them not abiding by their saying they cancelled the orders (and yes, I have it recorded, all my calls are for work purposes) Beware if you order and have to cancel... I don't yet know how the return and refund part is going to go....
Update- today we were able to get the items returned to Up North Sports... and they immediately refunded our money, before they received the items. Thank you so much! The folks are very nice to talk to... just has been a complete muddle with this order... they have at least been nice through the process even when I have been frustrated...."
"A fantastic store with stellar customer service. I've shopped a few of the larger online retailers in the past and Up North Sports blows away the competition. The have better pricing, better shipping/return policies and the level of personalized customer service was impressive.

I placed my helmet order with UPNORTHSPORTS.COM, on the weekend just before a holiday. I received an order confirmation but didn't see a tracking number so I contacted customer service to see when it was coming a few days later. Steve got back to me the very same day. He advised when it was shipped. As it turns out, my helmet was shipped the next business day after I originally ordered it and it arrived in about a week (even though this was a FREE SHIPPING deal). Their fast service and communication is a pleasure to work with. I will recommend UpNorthSports.com to my friends and look forward to using them again.
