"My experience has proven that review sites are totally unreliable. Now, if every single customer left a review, maybe. Unfortunately, typically only those with unfortunate experiences take the time to leave reviews. I purchased an intercom system from unitron-online and upon receipt noticed a problem with one of the speakers. I called them and they exchanged it with no hassle whatsoever. These people are knowledgable about what they sell, and are very helpful. "

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered an intercom system for over $1000 on 10/6/11, received it on 10/13. Ends up the wiring in my house is damaged, so I could not install the system and called for a return authorization on 11/1/11. They refused to give me authorization, insisting I had tried to install the equipment, even though I assured them several times that I had not. They finally agreed to the return, but the owner of the company sent me an email threatening to sue me if they found the equipment had been installed. Really??? What kind of business practice is THAT??? I returned the equipment -- they received it on 11/9/11 and determined that it had not been installed, just as I had told them. I waited for my refund. Many emails later, they finally told me my refund would be processed on 12/19/11. They never processed the refund and did not respond to my emails inquiring about the refund. Today is 1/18/12, still no refund. I called and they said my refund was now "scheduled" for 1/20/12, and not explanation of why it wasn't processed on 12/19. And of course the owner of the company was not in. He has never returned my calls before, so I don't expect to hear from him. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. They have turned a simple return into a nightmare! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

In response to Unitron's response --- the manufacturer inspected & CONFIRMED that the system had NOT been installed on 11/15/11. I have been in contact with them several times and they are just as bewildered why you have not processed the refund. You make it sound like they told you to refund me even though there was something wrong with the returned system. NOT THE CASE. I could not install the system in my house because my wiring was bad, which we determined from trying out the OLD system. This should have been a simple refund. WHY DID YOU NOT REFUND MY ACCOUNT ON 12/19/11 AS PROMISED?? As a good faith measure YOU SHOULD REFUND MY ENTIRE PURCHASE AMOUNT. The time and effort I have spent on this is ridiculous! You have held my money for over 60 days since you received the merchandise back.
AGAIN --- BUYERS BEWARE. THE COMPANY HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO SCRUPLES.

"As long as your merchandise arrives with no problems you're OK. I received a defective produce which had previously been returned. It was shipped in a box for another product with the other part number crossed out.

Returning it was a nightmare. You would do well to check out their instructions for returning merchandise. They promised to refund my money and return shipping charges (again and again) but were just stalling. After months of screwing with them, I finally filed a complaint with the state Attorneys General office. They finally refunded my money for the merchandise but would not make good on their promise to refund my shipping.
The shipping fees weren't refunded because "I" had written on the box (they actually defaced it) and they had to purchase a new box. I'm wondering what they need with a new box for a broken product?

These people are a nightmare. Their service is non-existant. If you have problems you're best off just to write it off and buy something from someone reputable.
