We will never return

"Visiting this store was a big blemish on our visit to NY for Easter Break! Yesterday we entered and the manager (Johnny) tried to scare us with a stuffed animal. You could clearly smell fresh liquor on his breath and he actually though he was being cute but we didn't find it funny at all. We will never return. Shame on the owners for hiring this guy as he face of their business. "

"Do not order from this company!! I ordered one item online about six weeks ago. The item supposedly shipped a few days later via USPS and I was able to track my order online on the USPS tracking site. A few days later, the USPS site showed that delivery had been attempted while no one was home and that the mail carrier had left a slip. Strangely, I had received no slip, but figured it was a mistake and the next day and I went to the post office to hopefully retrieve my item. On my way out of my house, I ran into my mail carrier who said he realized I was supposed to receive a package but he hadn't seen it and did not know where it was.
This was the first sign that something was off. I had supposedly been left a notice but my regular mail carrier knew nothing of it! It seemed that he was aware that a package was supposed to come to my address, but he never had possession of it to attempt delivery. So, why was the USPS site showing that delivery had been attempted if my mail carrier was saying he never had the package in the first place??
This was sounding strange, as nothing like this had ever happened to me before. It is normal for me to be at work when deliveries come, and my carrier just leaves a notice and I go pick it up the next day. But still, I figured it would be at the post office when I got there.
I went to the post office, and they could not locate the package, even though it was supposed to be there according to the tracking info on the USPS site. The postal workers searched at length, and then I spoke to a manager who said that perhaps it had been taken out for delivery by my carrier. But, I had already spoken to my carrier and I told the manager about how the carrier said that he never saw it. She even called the carrier on his cell phone to confirm that this was true. So, the manager said she would investigate further.
A couple of days went by, and I hadn't heard anything from USPS. Meanwhile I emailed customer service at Armynavydeals.com to say I never received my package. They emailed back and said that it is at the post office for pickup, which was of course what was showing on usps.com. I explained the situation and how the post office could not find it. Armynavydeals said that the post office would need to report it as lost before they could send me a replacement, which is what I was asking for.
I decided to go back to the post office and see if they could help. I spoke to a different manager and again he tried to look for the package. Ultimately, the post office could never find it but said they could not mark it as lost but that the retailer could call to confirm that it was in fact lost.
I told all this via email to Armynavydeals. They said they would have to submit a claim to USPS and once that was finalized they would send me a new item. I already wasn't happy with this response, since most companies will immediately send a replacement if an order has been lost by the shipping company. However, I figured I would receive my item soon enough so I began to wait. This was right around a month ago, and a little over two weeks since I had originally placed my order.
After waiting about a week with no word from the company, I called and spoke to someone in customer service. I said I wanted my item to be shipped immediately. This is where I began a series of emails back and forth with the company that are continuing to this day with no resolution in sight on behalf of the company.
Each time I email or call the company I am put off, told they need to wait, etc. First, they needed to wait for USPS to confirm the claim. Then, the manager was not in to authorize a refund or reshipment. They say they will get back to me the next day but they never do. I finally asked for a refund instead of replacement, and again continued to be put off. About a week and a half ago, I was again told that they needed until that Friday to wait for the USPS investigation to conclude, at which point they would refund my money. It has been 9 days since that Friday with no refund in my account.
Finally, yesterday, I called the credit card company to resolve this matter, since clearly it is not being resolved by the company itself. The CC company will do an investigation and hopefully refund me soon. However, I am deeply concerned that this company is conducting business in this way.
After reading reviews on this and other sites, evidently it is a common occurrence with this company for packages to never show up at the purchaser's house, and then the refund is very difficult to obtain, if it is ever obtained at all!
This is such a strange series of events that I have begun to wonder if this company is somehow fraudulently gaming the system to profit by making false deliveries and subsequent claims, thus robbing both the consumer as well as USPS! Could they possibly be hacking into some USPS system, or taking advantage of some glitch, to make it appear that something has been shipped, when, in fact, it never was?

"Placed an order that did not ship. Contacted customer support and they informed me that the order would ship in a week. It did not. I contacted them again, and kept getting the runaround, so I canceled the order. Complete waste of time. "

"You should consider this company's website as deadspace. Don't ever order from them and if you do certainly don't expect your order to be fulfilled or good service.

I placed an order back on November 18, 2014 and should note that everything ordered was noted as 'in stock' on their website. Two months later (now Jan 15 2015) I've phoned them yet again to have the order cancelled outright. I informed them that if any charges were found on my credit cards I would be contacting my credit card company and have ArmyNavyDeals investigated.

I sent follow-up emails to them repeatedly after a few weeks had passed and the order had not shipped. I never received any kind of response. Finally I phoned them and actually got a human being on the phone who apologized and said the order would ship out next week. That was back in mid December 2014. It never shipped.

In all my years of ordering products from a company online, ArmyNavyDeals is by far the absolute worst. Some of these items were to be a Christmas gift as well. Let me say that if I had the money, I would buy the company and shut it down completely, without question or doubt.

"Early February 2012, I've ordered a pair of "Canadian Parade Boots" and never received them - or any refund, till now. "Uncle Sam's" offered the boots on their homepage as "in stock" and in brand new condition. As I enquired about the current position of the online-order regarding my stay at their end, suddenly only a pair of Grade A boots would be available. What??? Obviously, I asked for a refund which seems to be a proper and conventional solution. Not a single Dime has been credited to my account yet, I'am talking about $138.- and my last approach via @ on 28-02-12 is still unanswered. Europeans, be aware of ordering any goods via internet at Uncle Sam's. You're money may be lost"

"Be very cautious when ordering items based on pictures posted on Uncle Sams website. Don't expect good customer service on returns.
I ordered 2 German ponchos based on the pictures, and was sent something entirely different.
I returned for exchange, and was told that I was sent the correct SKU even though the poncho was clearly not as depicted.
The customer service rep was insistent that Uncle Sams had not made a mistake.
I pointed out that the ponchos I received could not possibly be correct as the button pattern on the hood did not match up to the poncho.
Again, the rep was adamant that the correct item was shipped.
I suggested an error was made at the warehouse. Response was -- this is the item the warehouse always ships.
I said that the ponchos I received were much shorter than the poncho pictured on the model.
Rep response : The model is very short, and draped the poncho differently.
I responded that I understood how ponchos were worn, and that this was not a question of the poncho being draped differently on a very short person in a picture.
I grew weary of the arguments and circular reasoning of the sales rep, and concluded that Uncle Sams never makes a mistake and thus avoids taking hits on returned merchandise.
The item was either misrepresented by Uncle Sams, or a shipping error was made. Either way, Uncle Sams will not step up and take ownership of their error.
Uncle Sams refuses to refund shipping costs. So, all I was able to recover was the original purchase price of the items.
I will avoid doing any future business with Uncle Sams. They misrepresent their merchandise and do not provide good customer support.

"The service with armynavydeals.com was aweful.
I placed my order on October 1st and I still don't have these 3 items and it's 10/19.
After speaking to a few individuals on the phone, I was told that I would have to wait for the face paint for another couple of days. I had to cancel the face paint in order to get the rest of my order at before the halloween party this weekend.
I will never order from Armynavydeals.com again and will post reviews reflecting my experience with this company.
I wish I had Richard Geist's email address so I can send him this message myself.
I was truly dissapointed with your company and your customer service.

"I have to disagree with most of these reviews.
I've ordered twice from the .ca online store.
First time, I ordered 2 items which were delivered within 2.5 weeks. The quality of the products was very good, and no hidden charges/fees on my credit card.

Second time, though it's been 3 weeks since the order, I can't receive it because of postal strike in Canada. I've called them and they said the order has been ready for a bit, and will ship when the strike over.
I will post again if I dont get the second order in a timely fashion (the postal strike is over as of today), but i'm sure all will be alright.

The package arrived in good order. It was shipped the same day Canada Post went back to work. :D

"Terrible. Do not order from this company. The prices are good (tempting isn't it), but service is terrible, shipping is slow, and if you order from Canada (despite the "dot ca") you WILL get charged an extra $50 surprise fee! Not recommended at all."

"HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT ORDER from this company!! I ordered 10 items - after 3 weeks I still had not recieved the order. I made 3 calls over the course of a week to customer service to have the staff lie to me saying the order would be shipped that day or next. Supervisor never called me back when I requested to speak with him/her. On my final call before canceling I was told that all the items were not even in the warehouse for shipping and that the dog tag machine was broken so I wouldn't be getting that item at all."

"I just got the last part of my order today, February 24th. I honestly had just written it off, but they did come through. I ordered a jacket, liner, and gloves on December 6th for a late December trip to a place colder then where I live. Sadly, only the liner arrived in time. The jacket arrived a week after I got back, and the gloves today. I've had some places that shipped slowly, but this was the worst online ordering experience I've ever had. Ever. When the jacket was backordered and the message online said to call to confirm availability, I did call. Spoke to a friendly person who told me the jacket was on the way to their shipping center from another location. When I asked if it was out of stock or something, I was told, "I hope not." What was the point of having me call if they don't even know what they have in stock! I have never left any review for any online site, positive or negative, but this experience was so bad I just had to warn others what to expect."

"These people are thieves. There is no other way to put it. They had everything in stock until I placed my order then 1 week after ordering I noticed it still hadn't shipped. I contacted them a few times and finally got a response that they didn't have all the items and were waiting for them. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. They said it would take 5 days...well it's been 3 weeks and no refund.
This was going to be my son's Christmas present but they have stolen that since I currently do not have the funds to buy another gift.

Something needs to be done about these people who have no problem screwing honest consumers as well as people who have served our country in the military.
