"I ordered an assortment of pens, markers, pencils, etc. I ended up getting 44 sharpies, 8mech pencils, 14 pens, 20 dry erases, 14 highlighters. It was exactly as described and they sent me all information as soon as they could. The shipping email was prompt, and they even sent a follow up email to tell me that the shipping had been delivered. Would do business again.

Forgot to add, but to lazy to integrate back up: all pens/markers/etc. work perfectly. Some just needed to be jolted back to life, but all were good.

"I would not order from this store again. Although I received my two packages, I was supposed to get a $50 gift certificate through email that never arrived. I contacted the site twice through their comments box (they don't even make it easy to contact them!), twice via email, and once via phone (nobody picked up). The only response was "our records show that your order has been received." Well, their records are wrong!! All they need to do is send me another email with the gift certificate code, but somehow they are incapable of doing that.

This has been a HORRIBLE customer service experience for me. Not worth it.

Update:
My main problem with this company has been lack of communication. When things go fine, uwantsavings is wonderful and quick and everything else that everyone says. However, uwantsavings could do a lot better in acknowledging emails. It's a small company, but even a "we got your email and we're working on your issue, you'll hear back in a week" would have made me feel better. As a customer, I expect email turnaround time to be a day, which is why I got angry that nobody responded, except to send the standardized shipment confirmation emails.

So then I decided to try calling the office. The first time I called, I got voicemail. The second time I called, I was told Jeff was out to lunch (this is around 1:30 central time) and that nobody else could help me. I said I'd call back in an hour. The third and fourth times I called, a lady clearly picked up the phone (you could hear the radio in the background), but without even saying anything to me she forwarded me to Jeff's voicemail. I couldn't even get out an entire sentence before I got voicemail again. Finally, I called again and asked her exactly when I could actually speak to someone, and she told me that Jeff was in meetings all day and was unavailable. I asked her if this was a common occurrence - she said it was, and said she didn't know when I'd be able to talk to anyone. Ever. This did not boost my confidence in uwantsavings' customer service.

Finally, the lady got Jeff from the meeting, and Jeff was very nice and promised to resolve my issue by a certain time. True to his word, I received the certificate a few days later. After I talked to Jeff, the transaction was smooth.

So what could uwantsavings have done better?
1) Acknowledge emails promptly. I understand if you can't get to my problem right away, but please let me know that you're working on it!
2) Tell me how long it will take to resolve my problem. Jeff was great about this over the phone - the office in general, not so much.
3) Staff your phones with someone friendlier and more professional. I don't want to hear the news in Peoria. I especially don't want to hear the news in Peoria, and then get transferred to voicemail, all without ever talking to anyone. Again, this comes down to managing expectations - if you're not at the phone, let me know when you will be there. You don't want your secretary saying "he's always at meetings and you'll never reach him."

Sorry for being long-winded. Here's the conclusion:
-Prompt shipment & delivery of products at great prices.
-Customer relations could use improvement, although I get the sense that they're really trying.
-Undecided about whether I'd order from them again. I suppose if they have the item in stock, there shouldn't be a problem.

"Probably the best Customer Service that I have dealt with in the last 10 years. While other companies are going to "out of country" Customer Service contractors, UWantSavings has stayed in-house. And they do an excellent job of it.

This company does everything it can to make your buying experience a good one. They're good people and I highly recommend their site.

"I echo everything everyone else has said about U Want Savings. SUPER fast shipping, the items I purchased were of superior quality and I can not say enough about the price....there is no way I could ever match that price in any store. "I found this site mentioned on another site that I frequently visit (not a sales site). Due to problems encountered when trying to order a product, I emailed a request for a "real" person to contact me. To my surprise, Jeff phoned me and took my order at that time.
