Bad attitude

"I ordered the 3rd stainless steel transformer from USA L&E and when it arrived it did not have the timer dial as I had received on my past purchases. I called "customer service" and was told by the rep they never came with the timer and when I told him that they did in the past he said they had switched suppliers and now did not come with them but to go to Home Depot and purchase one. I asked if they had other complaints about the lack of timer and his "snotty" reply was not sir, you are the first.

There is a 20% restocking charge so I'll keep this one and make it work but look for another source for future purchases. It's a shame when a vendor goes from terrific to terrible when all they had to do was to understand why I would be surprised not to get the same complete system they used to sell and all they could say was, "there's nothing I can do". Well, there's something I can do and I shall.

After years of ordering with them, they decide I have conflicting address!

"I ordered a case of spotlights on September 7th, way in advance of my Sept. 29th show. As the time got nearer for the show, I realized the bulbs had not come. I emailed them, as they weren't open on weekends. They replied that my credit card billing address and shipping address didn't match, so they thought there was an error! Despite the fact that this is the same card # I have used for years, and the same shipping address, and my storefront doesn't have the same address as my credit card...and they never questioned this before...needless to say, tomorrow is my show and there are no bulbs. I will not be doing business with them ever again. AND, the bulbs burn out very fast anyway!"

"They lied about them being in stock. They said delivery within 5-7 days. At five days I noticed they never shipped so I called & they said they would notify me after seven days. Next day got email saying backordered. Representative was rude with my wife on the phone. Received item four days later. Product was ok, but I will be doing business somewhere else. They are simply not honest & forthright with customers."

"I ordered 12 low voltage landscape lights. 10 worked, 2 didn't. Tech support was extremely helpful and shipped out replacements right away. Probably the best customer service experience I've had on the internet"

"I had a good experience with this company. I needed some landscaping lights for my back yard pool area, and they had some nifty Maui Lighting fixtures. The shipping was really quick, and they were available to answer a few of the questions I had about making sure I had the right stuff for my project. Good site...I would recommend them over 1000bulbs, for sure."

"I have been using www.usalight.com for my furniture store, Country Willow in Bedford Hills NY since 2005. We have gone from 5000 sq ft in 2005 to over 25,000 square feet in 2010 and every last bit of track lighting... all parts and fixtures are from them. It is now probably in the neighborhood of 500 track lights, tracks, connectors, etc. They are on 10 hours a day seven days a week. Heavy retail usage! Their service has always been prompt, product and prices are great and reliable.... website clear and clean... easy to use. And as my company has grown, they have maintained the compatibilityy and look of the product I need to make my each of my expansion easy. Product continuity and connectivity over time is really important. The reason I am writing this review is because I know the value of an on-line review in this day and age. I rarely put the time aside to do this but they have been a good supplier and thought it was a chance to express my thanks. I highly recommend these guys. Good luck to you USALIGHT.COM!"
