"I was impressed with US1Photo.com from beginning to end . Prices were great and the site was very intuitive of the information that I needed to see on each page in order to make an informed decision. I called in my order, because I prefer to speak with a live person and they were very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely be visiting them for any addition products I may need."

"NEVER BUY ON THIS SITE!
My original order was for $1,719 (free shipping). The charge $1,897.93 is not correct. I tried to contact the customer service to try to correct the amount but the experience was terrible. The person allegedly called Jason (since he told me a pack of lies I wouldn't be surprised that this is not his real name) kept me on hold for 45 minutes occasionally picking up the phone and checking if I gave up and hang up. I asked him to connect me with the manager. First he told me that the manager is on the phone and he will call me back. When I asked him the name of the manager he said he doesn't know it. That there are about 10 managers. So I asked him to give at least one name and he again said he didn't know any. Then he said he will put my phone number on the manager's desk and he will call me back. I wondered how he can put a note on somebody's desk without even knowing the name of this person. I didn't want to participate in this circus anymore. And of course nobody called me back which I didn't even expect.
So I sent them an email notifying that I officially canceled this order. I contacted my credit card that this company is a fraud and asked to reverse the charge. No real company can have such customer service. I cancelled this order according to the company's policy within 48 hours. I placed the order on September 25 Friday. Saturday, Sunday and Monday they were closed. So I contacted you on Tuesday at 11 am your time (8-00 am my time). All this information was given to my credit card bank so they started the investigation. After my email someone called me and said that they will correct the situation and indeed they credited the difference.

"My item has not been shipped yet. I ordered it on the 30th and it's the 2nd. I was promised 3-5 day shipping...not sure how that's going to work out.
I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered from this company and I am very afraid of having a bad experience.

UPDATE***
I kept in constant contact with the company and was open about my worries. I got my items on time so I am completely relieved!!!! I think if you want to just buy a lens or accessory then you're safer rather than buying a camera. I probably won't use this company again for fear of a bad experience, but they did fine this time around.

"I received a Tamron Lens from US1Photo in early Oct 2009. I proceeded to use the lens for approx. 6 weeks and began to have issues with the lens binding when moving it. I called US1Photo on 11/11 and spent about 30 mins on the phone with 2 people, at which point they requested some time to review the situation and would call me back. 2 days later I received a call and a follow-up e-mail stating I should send the lens into Tamron for Warranty service and used the Tamron Warranty form US1Photo sent me.

Tamron REJECTED the warranty service as US1PHOTO is NOT an authorized dealer for Tamron. So now I am stuck with a less than functioning lens. THE MORAL IS: DO NOT BUY FROM ANY STORES THAT ARE NOT AUTHORIZED DEALERS - at least if you are buying a Tamron (which by the way is a really good lens). US1PHOTO is NOT listed among the many Authorized Dealers on Tamron's web site - something I have never run into previously with any other electronics supplier.

"this was the first time I dealt with a online store that made me feel like I had been ripped off. I paid for lens and express shipping and handling so I could get it in just days, in didn't come in days, two weeks later. I tried calling their customer service, sells department, only to be put on hold no one would answer emails or the phone calls. what should had been excitement over getting a new lens, just gave me a pit in the bottom of my stomach. I would never buy anything from them again. I did get my len. but the anxiety over everything was awful. Never again."

"BEWARE! I ordered a Canon 50D. It's says on the web page USA Model. Click on the wording and TaDa, it's an import from the UK. Received an OPEN box with the warrant card missing and the wall plug had a US adapter on it, take off the adapter and it's a UK plug. Called Canon and according to the serial number is most likely a NON US model. Canon also said that manual should be in English and Spanish for the US model, mine only was in English. Another tip off that it's from the UK. Canon did say that the camera is exactly the same as a US model, just no guarantee of warranty work (if needed). The Free shipping is a joke. Click on the words on the web page and again TaDa, there is a hidden $40 handling charge. I complained and they sent me a free battery (it’s not a canon model but an aftermarket brand). It took about 6 working days for them to ship the item to me. From the day I ordered it took 12 days to show up at my door. If no warranty is not a big deal, them I guess their low price is a bargain, Next time I’m shopping elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.

Update: the camera keeps displaying Error30. Talked to Kyle and according to him I can return it for a full refund. According to him I ONLY pay return shipping and my full amount on my CC will be refunded. I'll keep updated to see if this is true.

Final update (10/5/09): Guess US1 photo reads these reviews. I got a call from US1 on 9/29 stating they received my return and assured me I would get a full refund. They also asked me about my comments above and asked if I would post an update. I said I would as soon as my money has been refunded. True to their word today (10/5) my CC Company confirmed that US1 did refund my money. Today US1 again e-mail me to request I update my review (I was waiting for confirmation from my CC company before issuing a final review). So here it is. My advice is if you have any issues with them, post the concerns and call them. They seem very committed to addressing any issues posted here and seem to want to make thing right with the customers. With that said, please don't call me again US1 photo, I consider the matter closed.

They add items on your bill that were not discussed.Kevin at US1 Photo makes a lot of promisses but never comes through. People do not purchase anything from the company.
