"I have made several purchases from this store and all have worked out really well. The most recent purchase of a pair of Simms Intruder Boots is a perfect example of their offerings of top of the line equipment and there dedication to great customer service. It's always difficult to know about shoe sizing, especially when it comes to unique products, such as the Intruder, for example. It never hurts to ask a question, but you don't always get an answer that is meaningful, but Trident seems to pay attention to the needs of their customers, and in this case provided very helpful information. As it turns out, the sizing was correct and the fit is awesome. Too early to tell how they will do in the stream, but I'm fired up and ready to go. Free shipping didn't hurt either. The Intruder Boots, unlike waders, seem to follow regular shoe sizing, maybe a tad smaller but not much. Thanks! "

"I bought these a size larger to wear with a pair of waist waders for late fall/winter kayak fishing. I am in and out of the boat a lot especially when up stream to do some fly fishing, or just to water a tree (so to speak). I have a pair of Simms G3 boots, and they are amazing, but also VERY HEAVY! Kind of like wearing anchors. I normally wear a size 12, but figured that with a pair of SmartWool socks and the booties from the waders i would need a size 13. They fit perfectly. I have had them out on the water 5 times already for a total of around 40 hours and they both very comfortable and practical. I have even started wearing the darn things all the time. Everyone thinks they are hiking or climbing shoes. To be honest, they work great for hiking, climbing, and when up to my backside in a stream. It will be interesting to see how long the Vibram soles last with the amount of use i am putting them thru. If they hold up, I am going to be buying another pair in size 12 for just walking around and general kayak fishing during the spring and summer."

" I ordered a fly rod at a great price through Trident, and due to a mix-up at the Redington factory (not Trident's fault), I was shipped the wrong model. Josh Thelin at Trident kept me up to date all the way through some glitches and delays in communication with Redington, and was a pleasure to deal with - and I ended up with a higher end version of the same rod when it was realized that Redington no longer had the particular rod I had ordered. I deal with a number of online fly fishing stores, and despite the delay, I wouldn't hesitate to buy through Trident again, or recommend this store to others.
