"I ordered a new Pentax camera on 7/14/11 and the charge was on my credit card the same day because they said that it was in their warehouse and would ship out that week. But I received a call from them the next day and was told they did not have it in stock and that it is backordered. They thought it should be in a few days. After 7 days and no camera I called and was told it was still on backorder. So on the 8TH of August I called again and was told it was still on backorder I checked around on the web and found a company that had it in stock. So I cancelled the order on Aug. 8TH & was told that my account would be credited for the amount of the cost that was charged earlier. 2 weeks latewr on Aug. 23RD no credit appeared on my card and I called again to find out why I still didn't get the credit for my purchase? This time I talked with Adam and he said that "the check was in the mail" and he mailed it the 15TH. I said it's been 6 business days (8 days actually since the mailing) and I still did not receive the check. He said to wait another 4 days for it to arrive. Now since I live in WI and he was from NY I told him that I wasn't going to wait 4 more days and demanded my charge card be credited as I was told when I cancelled the order. He refused. I asked for his supervisor and was told he had none. I asked for the owner and he said he was the owner. I asked for an address for his company and he refused to tell me and that I found out that there really is no store and that he operates out of his basement and I'd just have to wait for the "the check to arrive in the mail" at which point I was not very polite and rattled off that I was entitled to a full refund credit to my charge card and again he said that won't happen and then he hung up on me. So I contacted my charge card company and they will investigate this retailer as to why he did not refund the amount already paid to him.

BEWARE of topsphotovideo.com as a fraudulant retailer. They claim they have the merchandise ordered and you have a hassle to get a refund when the merchandise is not sent.

"this is one of those websites that posts the lowest item price just to drive internet traffic. They dont have anything so please do not waste your time ordering from them. I ordered a canon HF S30 video camera and after five days there is no indication when the order will be shipped. "

"Do not trust this place.

I buy on Amazon all the time, usually from B&H etc but I found the d700 for over $400 less than anywhere else. I was skeptical at first but checked out the website and it seemed legit. I really needed the camera asap for a wedding so I ordered it-of course red flags began to pop up after that.

"Another person in my organization researched the product we needed. As the purchaser, I found TopsPhotoVideo using Google shopping. This was a second vendor; the first vendor indicated they were not able to get the product AFTER the sale had been confirmed & charged. TopsPhotoVideo quickly acknowledged my order via email. In a subsequent email, they requested that I call them to obtain additional information for my order. When calling, I was informed that the camera came as just that...no memory card, car charger, or case. That was helpful to me as I knew how the product would be used by others within our organization. Some would say it was an "upsell" opportunity; perhaps, but it's better than having to do a second order to get what you didn't know you were not going to get! Another email with order confirmation was sent after that, as well as an email confirming shipment with the tracking number.

I was very satisfied with the shopping experience.
