"I placed an order from ToolOrbit for a delta lathe on 11/21/12 , it's now 1/19/13 and still have not received it. They didn't show the item unavailable till I submitted the order and they took my money. I now realize that delta is moving all operations from Alabama to S. Carolina, causing all the delays. Had I known this was going on prior to ordering I probably would have chosen a different route. The staff at ToolOrbit have been nice, but have never contacted me with any updates on order. Any calls about this problem have been on my part. I feel that if an item is unavailable that they should state this on their website and have voiced this to managers at ToolOrbit. However that info is still not shown on the site today. Still waitng patiently for this item, to far into it for starting all over again."

"I was informed that my Delta table saw extension board was shipped on 12/21/12. Today is 1/7/13. When I called to find out what happened to it, I was informed that the item was on the dock waiting to be shipped. Had I not called, it would probably still be sitting there. Very poor indeed. I give them 2 stars only because the person with whom I spoke was very pleasant."

"I ordered a Delta 50-276 mobile base for a piece of machinery. I called to get a tracking number. It was then that the rep told me it might take a while (up to 1.5 months) because those parts are being purchased right from Delta and shipped to me. Delta is in the process of moving is warehouse so it might take a long time. That's a pretty open-ended non committed estimate as to when I might receive the item.

I would have appreciated an explanation in the ordering process between "Available" and "In Stock." The rep told me that the website order said "Available" which means "obtainable" when in any ordering process "Available" means ready to be shipped. If I order shipping that takes 5-7 days, I expect that I should receive the item in 8-9 days due to time needed to process the order and get it ready for shipping.

I accepted the reps response with a bit of calm regret and I verbalized that to him on the phone. I received the mobile base in 5 days. So, the rep must have taken my concern seriously and proactively taken "ownership" of the resolution to this situation. I wish I could commend him personally. But, we need more of that in this world....."ownership" and seeing a problem through to meet the customers needs.

I would do business again with Tool Orbit, but before I place an order I will call and talk to a rep to determine how and when I'll receive my order.
