They sent an incompatible cartridge for my printer and refused a refund.

"The header said the toner cartridge would work with my HP printer. It spewed blue powder when I installed it. I returned it and then was accused of scamming them by returning an empty cartridge. They refused a refund but offered me a free printer if I bought more ink. Not exactly good customer relations.

"Holy crap! Re-manufactured? Not on your life. How about simply refilled and not even inspected. My black cartridge had visible and tangible chunks/nicks in the drum that left black splotches on printed pages. And it squeaks when it prints! Ordered all four cartridges for a Dell 3110cn. Gonna return all of them cuz I won't trust any - if the company will answer the phone or return my call. My other option is to take it to my credit card company and I WILL do that.

Follow-up: I did connect with TonerBoss via phone and spoke with Paul. He/they agreed to take all four cartridges back, waive the normal restocking fee, and pay for the return shipping. So, in terms of their "customer service," I guess I would have to rate it as good enough to satisfy this customer. However, I will not shop through them again.

"TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I ordered two toner cartridges from this company and paid extra for overnight shipping. Tonerboss called me the next day (the day I was supposed to receive the package) and let me know one toner was back ordered, even though the website said it was "in stock". We finally decided to ship one toner overnight and that they would ship the other toner when it came in.

However, the following day I still didn't have a shipping confirmation. When I called to get the tracking number, they told me it never shipped and that I wouldn't receive the package for ANOTHER day. I was so disgusted with their customer service, that I canceled my order. Tonerboss cost our company two days without a printer due to their poor customer service and follow up. I would never recommend using their services to anyone.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I normally buy only genuine HP color toner for my HP 2605dn color laserjet printer (three colors plus black). Although the price of genuine HP product is higher than re-charged or re-cycled or OEM products, I don't want to blow my HP warranty (which is actually expired by now) or possibly damage my printer.

This vendor advertised "fully compatible" cartridges at a significant savings, and I decided to finally give them a try. The checkout process involved specifying my printer, presumably to ensure 100% compatible cartridges would be sent to me.

Sure enough, the next week the package arrives and all cartridges are present. But when I opened one of them there was a piece of tape on it (as was on all of them) stating that "if you use this on a 2605 printer please call customer service to get a replacement chip". HUH??? Something I'm supposed to do to these cartridges? I'm supposed to physically open it up and change something in order to use it in my printer, even though they knew my printer at order time? HUH??

The packing slip repeated "printer model: HP 2605", confirming what I specified when I placed the online order. So why didn't they just send me a cartridge set with whatever this "replacement chip" was already pre-inserted? Isn't that what "100% compatible" means?

Ridiculous.

Anyway, I phoned them up to discuss it. Their phone system is absolutely the worst sounding digital-delay and digital-clicking crappy system I have ever heard. Took 4 seconds for anything said from either end to get to the other party. Very frustrating to try and talk to them, especially compounded with digital clicks that made it hard to understand their foreign accents.

Eventually I got no satisfaction and said I wanted to return the item, rather than fool with any "replacement chips". They gave me an RMA number. I had to call them twice to finally get them to send me a UPS return shipping label so that I would not have to pay for the return myself.

They were supposed to process the refund 3-4 days after receiving the item back. Well that was two weeks ago, and I still haven't received my refund. I assume the Thanksgiving holiday might have contributed to this delay.

However this week is not a holiday. I have spoken with them (as best as possible) on the phone every day this week, and every day they tell me "we are processing the refund today and will send you an email with the transaction information".

Not surprisingly, five days of the same nonsense lying has gone on... and still no refund, and still no email.

Today I finally started a "dispute" with VISA over this refund that was promised but has yet to arrive. If I do get it I will cancel the dispute, but for now the dispute seems like my only way to get my money back.

Terrible customer service, voice mail only and they never call you back, can't understand their English, worst digital phone system I have ever heard, phony advertising and sale of "100% compatible cartridges" that arrived incompatible with my 2605 printer that they knew about when I placed the order, etc., etc.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. BUY ELSEWHERE... and my advice is try eBay where I eventually bought a genuine HP set for just about the same price as I paid TonerBoss (although I didn't get one extra black cartridge as they gave me in their OEM kit).

"I purchased a remanufactured transfer kit for an HP Color Laserjet 4550. Their site specifically claims that "all remanufactured items meet or exceed OEM specs." The printing company I work for was under a deadline, and I was forced to next day air the item. Even though they state they have warehouses all over the country to ship from, and their map has a dot in New York, they shipped my item from California. Im in Maryland, so I had to overnight it, so we could finish the project we needed it for.

When it got here, the printer started spitting out blank pages. I called and asked for a replacement, which they said they would provide. I asked them to please expedite the item, as I pad extra for next day air originally and we were still under a deadline. The guy I spoke with said he would see what he could do, and that he would call me back. I never got called, and my "replacement" arrived a week and a half later. I put "replacement" in quotes, because the new one didn't feed paper properly. After clearing about 60 or 70 seperate paper jams directly out of the transfer kit I gave up. I called and told them to issue me a refund and I would send their items back. They did agree, but we will see if they do it.

Also, it should be noted that when I bought a brand new HP transfer kit, it came with extra replacement parts including a roller assembly, filters, and a toner wipe, all of which tonerboss does not provide with their "meet or exceed OEM spec" parts.

I would not buy from here again.
