AAA Seller. Couldn't have done better. Fantastic!!!

"I purchased a new pistol for a great price online on the afternoon of Wednesday May 4th, 2022. I picked it up at my FFL, in FL, on Friday May 6th. I selected the free shipping option and they shipped FedEx overnight. Their customer service answered the phone when I called and the sales department responded to an email question about my FFL dealer. It was listed as shipping from their warehouse so I expected at least a week or two. This was my very first experience with this company and it couldn't have been better!!! I expect to be using them again in the future. Thank You Tombstone Tactical, OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!"

Two wasted trips

"Forget checking availability on their web site! I went there an asked for a specific S&W. The counter guy brings one out from stock and tells me it is almost $100 more than listed on their site. When I asked why there site listed one for $**** he said the price was slightly over cost and he could not reduce the price. At the end of the day I discovered it was because he brought out the wrong model variation. 2nd trip - I take a printed screen shot from their site that shows the model, SKU number, the UPC number and their inventory number. After waiting a full 25 minutes while counter guys wander around looking lost the guy looks at the screen shot print out and says: "we don't have any and I don't remember ever seeing one." He checks stock and says nope, we don't have that model. When I asked why their site shows that they in fact do have one he said: "well, if someone ordered on and had yet to pick it up it would show in stock." Clearly their inventory program is flawed! The bottom line is two waisted trips, an inaccurate web site listing and an employee who can't even read SKU numbers.

Advised to go to Cabellas

"Went to see if they had ammo. Asked the clerk if they had .45 ammo and he replied “I don’t think so.” I asked when he expected a shipment and he said, “You would probably be better off going to someplace like Cabellas”. Really? This is how you do business? Will not go back"

Unsatisfied Customer

"Purchased a Kahr CW9 last week. Did the normal outer inspection when purchased and all seemed good. Several days later decided to take it apart to give it a basic clean and oil. In doing so I noticed several very sloppy manufacturing concerns. Milling concerns on the slide. The recoil spring won't even fit flush to the barrel surface. The composite receiver has some serious scars on the slide notches and one side is lower than the other. No worries, just call Tombstone and I'm sure they'll take care of me. NOPE. You didn't purchase the gun warranty (which as not offered to me). Okay, let me purchase the gun warranty. NOPE. It's too late. You should've gotten at purchase or "a day or so after" is what I was told. Why? It's only been 7 days now (been calling for 2 days). "You may have done something to the gun" I was told. Well, it only covers manufacturer defects right? How am I going to create a manufacturer defect?? Sorry, you have to contact Kahr Arms.
Is this now what we as gun owners and purchasers have to face? This kind of horrible customer service? Sportsman's Warehouse offered me up to 90 days after the day of purchase to pick their warranty on a shotgun I recently purchased. That's good customer service. But I guess with lines out the doors these days Tombstone Tactical feels like they can treat their customers like trash and expect them to come back. NOPE! I certainly won't be going back and hope that everyone who reads this post stays away too. There's plenty of other places to buy guns and get treated MUCH better.

"Don't purchase anything from this company! They will give you the runaround and never ship your item. Ordered a lpk it's been 2 weeks and ups tracking still says awaiting item. They say it's been shipped. I call BS!"

Excellent - Recommend

"I recently ordered a weapon from Tombstone Tactical. They customer service was responsive, polite and effective. I made the order on a Sunday and checked for progress the following Wednesday, figuring I would have to baby-sit the transfer. I discovered that my handgun had already shipped and arrived at my local dealer the day before, after traveling halfway across the country.

I cannot imagine what all of the bad reviews are about on this site but Tombstone has an “A” rating with the BBB and five star status over more than 2000 reviews on a competitor site.
I recommend them.

Placed online order, card gets hacked FRAUD

"Just placed an order today 10/01/2019 for a new Springfield 911 .380, used a Paypal debit card I rarely ever use this card (been weeks) and then shortly after they say my order was successful, my debit card got hacked by someone from India and 3 fraudulent charges showed up. BEWARE OF FRAUD HACKSTERS"

Unsatisfactory Order Experience

"This is an actual occurrence... I had a very unsatisfactory experience in placing my first order with Tombstone Tactical.

I did a search on an item I was interested in purchasing and found the best price offered by Tombstone Tactical - with $9.99 flat rate shipping. To make the shipping cost more reasonable, I added two of another item and placed the order. I got a confirmation email verifying that my order had been placed and was being processed.

Then I got another email Tombstone Tactical:

“Robert, Unfortunately, we had to pull item 1 from the order due to it being out of stock at the moment, our inventory is off on this 1 item. We will ship item 2 and we will refund you for item 1. We apologize for the mishap.
Respectfully,
Myron
General Manager”

This left me with an order for about $15 at $9.99 shipping... I logged into my account to check to see if there was a substitute available and saw that they had 14 units of the item they cancelled but at a higher price. I called customer support and got the run-around that the item had been out of stock but, miraculously, they just got a new shipment in the very same day! I told them that, since they had the item in stock now, they should add it back to my order at the price it was when I placed the order.

The cs rep checked with Myron who refused to do it. Then I told them to cancel the order to which he replied that the partial order had shipped and I had to return the item if they cancelled the order... please realize that this was not an order for hundreds of dollars... the difference was only $4.97.

So, to avoid any more hassle with Tombstone Tactical, I grudgingly bit the bullet and had them add the item back at the higher price to complete my original order... and, I had to give them my cc info so they could charge the additional $4.97 to it! Not a satisfied customer here!

I have left the final resolution to this transaction with Myron, Tombstone Tactical General Manager :

"I expected that Tombstone Tactical should have honored the original advertised price or sell it to me at cost or price match the $15.99 price listed at another internet retailer. As the manager, you still have the ability to do this... if not, then you have lost a customer."

However, I don't have much expectation of a satisfactory resolution from Tombstone Tactical

The purpose of this review is to provide feedback on my negative experience with this on-line retailer... which is atypical of my positive experiences with many, many other on-line retailers.

What I find odd is why Tombstone Tactical would risk a poor customer review over $4.97... doesn't make good business sense!

No help in store

"I have bought 4 guns from them now. An it seem ever time I go in they do not want to help you.i was standing there wait an he took 2 guys that walked in after me an helped them after the second guys I walked out. I was talking to a guy out at work about this, he said him an his cousin had the same problem that nether one of them will go in there again. Just seem the owner we want better employees."

"I have had an account for a while but the online website ****, I have not been able to see my cart, nor place an order for months and I called and communicated this to Tombstone and apparently they have better things to do. Data (sales hours) on their website doesn't match the hours on their message. Losing all faith which is a shame because their pricing is good."
