"I started using the guitar playing accelerator a couple months ago hoping it could help me start making faster progress in my playing. My main goal for the past few months has been to play not only faster, but more creatively. So far, I've been pretty surprised at how effective (and fun) it is to use this tool. It is very specific about tracking all different areas of your guitar playing, and displays your progress with colorful graphs. It's enjoyable just to go through the graphs themselves and see how far you've advanced in your playing (in any specific area) in a week, or a month, etc. Tracking my progress like this has helped keep me on top of things and as a result I've seen my speed and soloing/improvising improve at a much fasterr pace than before. "Just began guitar lessons with Tom Hess a few weeks ago. i found him through his guitar soloing videos on youtube, because i am trying to play faster and improve my technique. I've already learned a lot of interesting new things about my picking hand that i never noticed in my playing... and i can tell that my speed and consistency have gotten much better.
