Slow to Refund on Returns

"I have had two negative experiences returning items and receiving refunds in a timely manner from Title Nine. The first time (October 2022), I repeatedly had to call customer service (at least 4 times) after being told each time that the refund had been initiated then never receiving it. Eventually, I received an email from the founder admitting system issues and was sent a physical check to refund the purchase. This took four months, and I received the check in January 2023. Four months to receive a refund on items I returned within a week of receiving them.

I was skeptical about using Title Nine again but did end up making two orders which I also returned. It has been a month since I shipped the items and over two weeks since receiving the confirmation that Title Nine has received the items, but no communication regarding the orders' refunds. I have emailed the customer service department and will start another round of phone calls this week.

No customer should have to fight for a refund on items they have returned to a company. I have to wonder if Title Nine purposefully withholds refunds hoping that their customers are not checking on the status or will let it go over the hassle of dealing with customer service. I will definitely NOT be buying from this company again.

Only because I couldn't give them zero star

"Order on 11/25, get an email that says they shipped it on 11/30. The tracking number does not allow you to track anything as it is a ups number. Eight days later I call as I have not received my package. They say we are still in the ten day window. I should get it by Friday. Call Friday they say they are closed, so I email. Get email back saying you should get it things are slow. I call ups they tell me it is a usps package. I go on the usps website and it states my package was received on 12/10. Really Title Nine? You have to send bogus information to a customer. No thanks, I will spend my money elsewhere. "

Horrible shipping and Customer Support

"I paid for two day express shipping ($27.00), FOUR days ago. Still have not received my purchase OR an update for FEDEX. I sent an email to customer support, no response, so I called this morning to be told “Title Nine is closed today, but we can send them an email.” No thanks, they won’t respond and I will no longer waste my time or money with this crappy business. Clothes are overpriced and customer support/assistance doesn’t exist!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Slow delivery

"Order placed on Sept 3rd. Per tracking, order arrived at a FedEx facility, than 140 miles from my home, on Sept 11th. Estimated delivery date was Sept 18th. It was changed today to Sept 17th. Wow!! US mail doesn’t take this long. Love the clothes. The clothes are a bit pricey. I am going to stick with Tennis/running warehouse, New Balance, Fila, Tail, Terry........... "

Order from ATHLETA instead...Shipping Disaster and Poor Customer Service..ATHLETA is MUCH BETTER

" I ordered $630 worth of swimwear for a vacation on 3 June...shipping policy says 5-10 business days...so I expected to see my items by 15 June at the latest...NOPE! When I looked up the expected delivery date today, it says it will not be delivered before the 18th of June. A full TWO WEEKS AFTER placing the order. When I called customer service about it, they blamed me for not reading the policy...which clearly states 5-10 business days...so I counted them...I cam e up with 15 June...they said NO...it's not 5-10 business days from when you place the order, rather, it's 5-10 business days after they decide to ship it. Even if it is in stock. My cruise is spoiled now that I do not have a swim suit and no time to order a replacement before I leave. No offer was made to compensate me for my trouble...only the offer that I could ship everything back if I wanted to...so I will and I will only buy from a reliable retailer who values me as a customer and appreciates my business...ATHLETA, ATHLETA, ATHLETA . https://www.athleta.com/ "

Lost, lost and lost again

"I ordered a bathing suit top for my daughter and paid for rush delivery so she would have it before leaving on vacation. It did not arrive, then, or ever. I emailed Title Nine about a month later and asked what had happened. I did get a quick response, but it was very vague, and said they would "reach out" to the packaging department to see what was up. A day later I was told it would be reshipped. It never arrived again. I emailed Title Nine and they said they were still not sure what had happened, but they would refund my card. I thought after bungling the order the first time they would be especially careful with the second order so as not to lose my business. But no. I will never buy from them again."

"I have shopped at Title Nine for several years. They have some cute merchandise, but they are very overpriced. Their return policy is also limited. They claim that you can try out the sports clothing and return it if it is not satisfactory, but they only give one year from purchase to return. There have been times when I have not tried out an item of sports clothing within the one year time, and have been stuck with something that I cannot use because I missed the return window. It can also take time for items to show that their initial quality appearance was misleading--like a sweater that does not pill extensively until it has been worn several times, but by then the one year return window has closed. Their shipping is also ridiculously slow--it takes 2 full weeks to receive an item shipped from CA to the East Coast.
They carry items from other sellers, like Prana or Patagonia, but do not list that on the website, and their description of the items make it sound like it is their design. They do have periodic sales, where sale items will be reduced by 20% or so, but when original prices are so high (a made in China wool sweater averages $100 to $150), even 20% does not help much. Many of their made in China items are original designs, but the execution suffers from the location at which they are made. I prefer to shop at the original vendors of the clothing that they sell. Recently they started a one day a week, 3 hour sale (12 noon to 3p EST) and unless you have private online access during work hours, you are out of luck. When I missed the first sale by one hour I called customer service, and was told that they did not know what had been on sale and were no able to tell me. My business is going elsewhere.
