I’m not sure why there’s bad reviews it’s a pretty simple process you order they deliver to any tire shop you want. And there fast I got my tires in 6 days without paying for speedy delivery. I would highly recommend them to any one. I will definitely use there service again . "
"They never updated their system so the website had the old address for a company (which is what the consumer sees) but they updated their "shipping" system so my tires were sent to the NEW address for the company but I had my car obviously delivered to the address that was online, on my email and what was told to me on the phone by Brett and Haley. Haley then had the nerve to blame the new owner of the location even though he didn't even know his address was on the website (for 4 years!!!) - Haley refused to take responsibility and acted like a petulant child, so after I treated her like one--she put me on hold for 15 mins. I hung up, spoke to Bryan -- he told me that there was a "possibility" there was an error EVEN THOUGH he admitted the address on the "shipping" did not match the address on the WEBSITE! They also never sent me a confirmation email that the tires were delivered so I couldn't even call during normal business hours to these auto shops to rectify the situation. When I asked how they would fix this, they said "fed ex could pick up my tires tomorrow but they probably wont be delivered till Wednesday because the new shop owner, where my car was, was not in the SYSTEM!" I asked for a refund. They told me ill get that in 3-5 business days but they damn sure did charge my debit card quick fast and in a hurry....twice ! Let's see how long it really takes to see my $900 back ."
"I bought 4 new tires from tirebuyer and while the prices are great, their service is not up to par. My order was confirmed to be delivered by wednesday. Wednesday came and i talked to the shop and they informed me that only 2 tires have arrived. So i called tirebuyer and they told me that the other 2 tires are being shipped on another truck that not scheduled to arrive 2 days later. It said the tires will be shipped from Georgia. Im in north carolina..when i placed the order, the shipping info said its coming from NY.. tirebuyer says that 2 came from NY and the other 2 from Chicago..WTH. wat happen to Georgia..their information on their website is misleading.. and now i have to wait an extra 2 days. Freaking Jerks"
"These people went the XTRA MILE. Found an installer after the installer elected NOT to install the tires on my Sprinter. Picked up the tires and moved them to Shepherd tire who did a great job in minimal time completing the install. Kudos to Tire Buyer and Shepherds for getting the job done!"
"I ordered a set of tires for my truck on Friday morning, they arrived right at 24hr later on Saturday morning. I cannot praise the company more for such quick service. I didn’t pay for express shipping just standard ground, granted I live 4hrs from the facility they shipped out of. The tires were exactly what I ordered!!!!"
"Overall a good experience and I'd do it again. I needed a set of 19's and the prices were making me ill. Did my due diligence and decided on TireBuyer. Got a set of Continentals. I'm fortunate to be in proximity to a warehouse. Ordered 12:20 AM, tires were waiting at my installer's door when they got there to open up before 7:30 AM. Wrong tires, but they got there lightning fast. Called TireBuyer and they immediately ordered the correct size and sent them out, and again they were there super early the next morning. Start to finish, I originally ordered 12:20 AM Wednesday, tires were installed 1:00 PM Friday. Still not at all bad considering the size mixup, and the best part was I never left my house once before getting them on. Never had to pick up and lug any tires. (I ordered from ebay one time. They were left on my porch so I had to take them to my detached garage and put them in my car. I'm 67, don't need that crap).
Couple of notes. First and foremost, you need to know what size tire you need. There was no cost to me to return or re-order because I ordered the correct size. The order was picked wrong by TireBuyer. So I'm guessing the reviews saying the order had to be refunded, which takes some time, and then reordered, were because the buyer ordered the wrong tire.
Also, I recall reading, maybe mistakenly, that the installer would be in contact when the tires are delivered. Not the case with the Monro I used. In addition, if you wait until you receive the delivery confirmation from TireBuyer, at least in my case, the tires were delivered about 5 hours earlier than the confirmation email was received.
I also don't think it's necessarily on TireBuyer if the tires are defective. That's on the manufacturer. Plus to get the expected wear, you have to do your part in maintaining them properly with rotation, keeping them inflated, and being aware of any alignment or balancing issues.

They don't stand behind anything. I bought a complete set of 60,000 miles rated tires that were defective and could not be balanced anymore at 11, 000 miles and they said basically "TO BAD, SO SAD".

"I never ordered tires online so I was a bit skeptical. I stayed up one night until 3am reading reviews, watching videos, visiting message boards on Reddit, etc. After a lot of research, I landed on the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06's for my Audi A4. I submitted my order on TireBuyer early Friday morning and got a confirmation & order #. Didn't hear anything via email until Monday morning that they shipped (they use their own carrier - so it's not UPS, FedEx etc.). Apparently my tires shipped Monday and were received the same day. So I called the installer that I had the tires sent to (Firestone in my town) and they made an appointment for me for 1pm today. I handed the Firestone employee my key and just hung out in their lounge. An hour later, my new Continentals were on & everything looked & felt great. I paid the installer exactly what TireBuyer quoted which was $88 (with some tax & an extra fee or something it came to $99 for the install). There were no hiccups in any part of this entire operation.
I called TireBuyer twice just to try & get a feel for when the tires would get delivered so I could plan my day. Both phone calls were answered right away by a live person - NO hassling with a phone tree system for 20 mins trying to get someone.
In my particular case - I saved a little over $100 from buying the tires locally - and believe me, I checked everywhere I could. The tires were even less then TireBuyer (which I am sure offers excellent service as well). Plus I liked the fact that I got instant rebates (instead of hassling with mail in rebates) PLUS a 7% military discount. They have a system where they can verify if you are a veteran or not (I used USAA as an instant verification checker).
I would recommend TireBuyer.com to all friends, relatives & fellow veterans everywhere that need/want new tires for their vehicle."
"I called to complain about the service shop near me refusing the tire I ordered from them and for them to fix the situation and the rep hung up on me. I ordered a tire and the website recommended a shop near me to install it. Yesterday I called that shop and asked if they received the tire and was told by a guy named Eric, who was nasty, he said I don't accept orders unless someone calls me first to tell me I'm getting one. I said I was not told I had to call first so he said he will look out for the order. Later that day I called and Eric confirmed that he received a tire. I made an 8:30 AM appointment to get it Installed for today. I went today and found out that they didn't have the tire because they refused it. I called tire buyer and the guy who answered seemed surprised by the fact that the tire was refused but no one made an effort to call or email me to tell me this had happened. I asked them to send it to somewhere else locally so that I can get it put on my car and explained to them that the guy at firestone was nasty and they shouldn't do business with him. The customer service agent told me he would just refund my order and he didn't appreciate that I was talking loudly. I told him numerous times I didn't want my order refunded I need the tire on my car. Instead of helping me and listening to me he argued with me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and spoke to Alan the service manager who said that he would not file a complaint against that employee because that employee and he are friends and that he feels that employee acted appropriately."
"I placed an order for 4 tires on at 9:30PM on Monday 11/5. Prior to purchasing the tires I had checked to determine where they would ship from. I realized they would ship from the closest ATD/Tirebuyer facility in Halethorpe, MD and would ship to my installer which is less than 2 miles, 2 MILES from their facility. Checked on 11/7 since that was the day the tires were due to be delivered and discovered they were still not delivered. Contacted the installer to verify if they had received them with no success. Checked Tirebuyer.com this morning to get a status and discovered now its showing shipped via Fedex. So they basically lied thru their teeth about the quantity & location of these tires and committed fraud. I could have easily gone with their competitor, TireRack or Discount Tire Direct and gotten my tires by now but chose to give them a try since I had good luck with them last time. This will be my last set of tires I purchase from ATD/Tirebuyer. Do not purchase tires from them especially if the tires are coming from their terminal at 4625 Hollins Ferry Road, Halethorpe, MD cause obviously they have no knowledge of true inventory at this facility and more than likely any other facility they own.
Update: Periodic checks of their website resulted in the order being no longer listed after the date the tires were supposed to be delivered. On 11/12, I get an e-mail saying my order has shipped but this time the order number has an "a" added to the order. The credit card authorization/hold expired and they charged it again after the original order was cancelled. They had no authorization to charge the account without prior authorization since the order number is not the same. They have committed interstate commerce crimes and they will be prosecuted for it."

Took them 5 days to process the refund and now they say it can be 5-8 days waiting for the “payment processor”. Such crap. "
"BEWARE: Offers a rebates if you buy a set of tires which will never be fulfilled. I filed a rebate claim in April and have yet to receive my promotional rebate of US50.- I was told the card had been sent to another address and used already.
