"Tireteams prices were about 20% less than anywhere else I could find. Being one who ascribes to you get what you pay for, I was very wary. I was concerned with all the positive reviews... it looked like 3rd party comment stuffing. I figured I'd try voice to see if they were legit or not, and their phone system was out of service. Under normal circumstances, this would make me run far away.

On the other hand, the big savings were a huge siren calling me... so I did what any other web guy would go. I pulled the whois records and track down who really is behind tireteam.com. Wowzers, they've been in business for many years and really seem to be on the ball brick and mortar wise.

As such, I emailed them with questions about the date of tire mfg back and forth and my comfort level went up multifold... I was fixing to place my order, but sadly, the deal ran out on those tires, and the price got jacked up $60.

All was not lost. Tireteam has a Jacob.

He had answered my questions and alleviated the concerns about the date codes, so when the price became and issue, he said he'd fix it. It turned out he couldn't fix it via the website... but said he would send me a refund once funds arrived such that I got the previous price. Most outfits I know would say tough luck, but Jacob was really cool. He said he'd hold the old price for me since we were in the middle of trying to place an order.

So I place the order... a bit later I get an answer from Jacob as to the date code. The tires were less than 2 months old! A bit later, I get a refund notice from my CC. A bit later, I get shipping confirmation... and its real, not just hey we printed a label, but it was actually at UPS! All in all, from the time of placing my order to a scan at UPS was under 6 hours! (Even more amazing is that I placed the order around 2PM CST, so obviously they were working much later than 5PM EST)

3 days later, the tires arrived, with the date code as presented, and they are in pristine condition... actually much better shape than some of the ones my garage guy has received from his warehouse (ie the tires weren't stored or transported jammed all together which deforms them and can make bead seating a hassle).

All in all I'm extremely pleased with tireteam.com and plan on doing future business with them. Prices and customer service really rock with these guys. "

I ended up using hair spray to get the tire to "stick" to both sides of the rim in order to get it inflated. Some better storage or quality control could have made this a great experience."
