Stop don't do it

"Wrong tires sent... cost to return?.. half the cost of the tires. If you like to gamble give tire direct a roll of the dice. I will not make that mistake agian."

Great Canadian Reseller!

"I have had an active account with TigerDirect for my business since 2010. I have had nothing but great experience from them. They are a great local re-seller with great products for great prices and I always receive them within a reasonable about of time. I came to this page and saw all the negative reviews. I had to share my experience because every company has their flaws. But this is a good company and I think this page just shows all the bad. But people with something negative to say are usually more likely to go through the trouble of making a review. So this is just all bad exposure... There's nothing wrong with this company. They don't scam anyone. They are just trying to run a business...."

"I have ordered online at TigerDirect.ca over a dozen times.Some of the deals are unbeatable. I have had great delivery, great customer service dealings and overall satisfaction with one return. I would never hesitate getting a deal from TigerDirect.ca because It seams they aim to please. I am half an hour drive from a Tigerdirect store and quite often browse there store. I quite often browse their online store for online deals too.I highly recommend TigerDirect.ca."

They are scam artists who will take your money

"They do not deserve any stars. I recently purchased a product that was 2700.00. I returned it as soon as I received it as I no longer needed it. They require the original packaging which is fine as the box was untouched. Days later, they advised they received the package but that everything was opened and therefore could not refund me and will send it back which I would most likely be charged for.

I called and emailed several times - just keep being told that the returns department is reviewing it. You mean, they are opening it and claiming that I opened it? So they don't have to refund the money back.

Beware - they will do anything to keep your money. Including tell you that it was not factory sealed when it was. They could easily just open it and do whatever they want and claimed that you did not meet their return requirements.

Such a scam. Keep your money and spend it literally ANYWHERE else.

Worst company to deal with

"They dont even deserve one star but this is the lowest I can go. Their reps have no idea of customer service. They respond to emails within 48 hours and dont even bother to send all information. I have to return a defective laptop and was told that he will email me labels for return shipping. Nothing happened and after some name calling I was sent a return notice. Called them again and asked who will pay shipping. Then I was mailed return shipping label. No one never said sorry for inconvenience. Called them again after confirming that they received package. I was told refund was processed and i should contact my credit card company. There was no refund. Called them again and I was put on hold and then nothing happened. After 3 tries another rep picked phone and said it will take 7-10 business days for refund and just hanged up. Again sent them email that I will file complaints with BBB, competition bureau and write reviews. Someone called from Toronto office and threatened for posting reviews o filing complaints. I have recording of that phone call and it will be forwarded and posted online. There prices are little better but not worth if there is any problem. Just call their contact number to know level of their customer service. Costco has much better price and customer service."

PLEASE STAY AWAY; THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WON'T HELP YOU AFTER

"LONG STORY SHORT; PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF POSSIBLE PAIN. DON'T BUY. RUN AWAY I DON'T CARE HOW "STEEP" THE PRICE IS. JUST DON'T DO IT.

I made a purchase for a rather expensive PC. I paid a lot of money extra for express shipping. The day after I placed my order, I was receiving voice messages IN CHINESE from an american phone number. I obviously did not understand any of these messages. Eventually I tried checking my order status for the PC and it prompted me to contact customer service. From customer service, I was given a number to call (their "BILLING" department; a person with a thick chinese accent picked up) to whom I had to "confirm" the details on my credit card, and phone #. OK. I did that. Was creeped out and skeptical, but I did it.

Finally order was put through. I was under the assumption that my PC would be shipped out quickly (as they said on the website that it was in stock and would be shipped out in 24 hrs)... but guess what.... IT WASN'T. I waited a few days before I received tracking info....

And then the nightmare began. My PC wasn't delivered to me. Took a day off work, thinking it would come, but it didn't. The tracking was marked as delivered when it wasn't. I started frantically calling customer support, only to be put on the line for 1-2hrs at a time. When they did pick up, they were rude/disinterested and dismissive of my problem. Obviously I wasn't going to give up... that hard earned $$ I paid for my PC was a big splurge and I can't afford such a huge loss.. I called and called each day to tigerdirect customer support and my situation wasn't getting anywhere. I eventually gave up calling them (btw they also would just hang up, or they'd never pick up in the first place - INSANELY rude people, I can't tell you how much stress they gave me because it was BAD).

My friend suggested speaking to the courier and I spoke with a specialist, who helped me out the most. They were unable to find my package, but they helped me get my money back.

I hope to god nobody has to deal with Tiger Direct customer support. Please spare yourself any possible pain. Just take my word for it, getting my money back was hell. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. EVER.

Does Not Stand Behind Products!!

"I purchased 2 HP laptops, one for my Wife and one for myself. I was generally happy with the product, however less than a year after they were purchased my battery started to not hold a charge. This is very inconvenient as I use it for work as the main purpose of purchase and it has to be plugged in to use which limits mobility greatly. I purchased 2 year protection for each computer so I thought I would be able to get the battery replaced with no issues. This is not the case as they do not cover "consumed batteries". I have never had the issue of a battery being used up after 1 year. If the battery was considered damaged it would have been covered, however since it just stopped working they will not cover it. Seeing how they do not stand behind a product they are selling I do not recommend nor will I purchase anything else from this company. "

Excellent cyberpowerpc for great price (under $900)

"I brought a cyber PowerPC on August 3, 2018 and was shipped by august 8, 2018. This cyber PowerPC gamer ultra gaming PC plays games well at ultra resolution without frames per second (FPS) slowing down. It's not that loud when turn on or playing games. Great for free to play first person shooters; its a computer I recommend purchasing if looking for gaming desktop under $900. "

Worst ever service, no clue about orders.

"Worst, you cannot even reach them, they make sure to grab your money first and you do not even have anybody to run after. Its an extention to USA tigerdirect.com and i am not sure how they allow to run this kind of service in canada."

Tiger Direct Canada does not own up to their return/refund policy. BEWARE!

"Purchased a 1TB SATA HDD from them. They ended up sending me a 512GB SATA. Called them for an exchange. The Canadian number DOES NOT WORK ON WEEKENDS. Calling ***-***-**** drops the call immediately.

Calling the Canadian number during the week routes me to their US call center who cannot help. They offer to send your case to their Canadian center, but they never do. Call drops.

After getting frustrated with their phone service, I decided to email their support. Their email address does not reply to emails in a timely manner.

I eventually purchased a HDD from another company, as I did not have time to wait around for TigerDirect to respond.

After more than 15 days (their maximum for a return/refund), I finally got an email reply saying that my purchase had passed their 15 day return policy and they could not provide me with a refund.

I emailed them back and told them I had reached out to them LONG BEFORE the 15 day refund policy expired. I got the same copy/pasted reply back.

So I copy/pasted my same reply back to them. I got their same copy paste reply back. The person wasn't even reading my emails anymore.

I got fed up, so replied asking if they can at least honor the sale and send me a 1TB HDD, and let me return the 512GB one they sent me. This time I got a different reply, saying that I would need to pay for shipping and a re-stock fee.

Chalking this up as a 95$ lesson never to use Tiger Direct again.

I eventually called my credit card company and reported it as a fraudulent charge on my card. I won, as Master Card said they had the same challenges reaching out to, and getting replies back from TigerDirect too. After that, it's in the hands of lawyers.

STAY AWAY FROM TIGER DIRECT CANADA!

Oh, and the owners were charged with fraud back in 2015. Makes perfect sense now.

Worst company ever, Not even worth for 1 start

"Placed order of 4 video cards at regular price and when price went up by $100 each, they held the shipment for more than a month. When i called to ask when will be ship, they claimed the items was out of stock but their website states it's in stock. CSR hanged up the phone immediately and dropped my calls for more than 10 times. Very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Never buy from them anymore. Newegg and Canadacomputers have way better service then they do"

no service!

"I have purchased 3 computers on black friday to give on Chrismas. One didn't work. I called regarding a refund... I have spent hours waiting for someone to answer me, everyday. I was only able to reach someone over a week later. He told me he was going to send an email regarding my request... 3 weeks later, still nothing. I have attempted to join them several times. Finally, I was able to reach somebody this morning... no trace of the first email... and offers me to send an email. "
