"Heartbreaking experience, and the way it was handled by Ticketmaster made it even more heartbreaking.

Bought two tickets to see Chris Tucker in June 2013 at Melbourne Convention Centre. The tickets were second row - great seats! Was so excited as CT does not do many shows. Arrived and our seats didn't exist. Was a sold out show and so Ushers created seats out on the side lines, not the best view and unfortunately the audio was not configured for those last minute erected seats on the side lines. The whole show echoed and we couldn't understand what was being said, audience was laughing and we couldn't hear the jokes. We called the usher during the show to find us other seats. The usher promised to help and advised he would look for seats and be back but never came back. We didn't want to leave because we so desperately wanted to see CT and wanted to wait for the usher to find better seats but waited till the end of the show and he never came back. We could only understand every 4th word being said by CT through the whole show. Complained to Ticketmaster, and was told that we could only get half the cost of our tickets back, nothing more. Were told we should have left instead of staying and then would have got a full refund. We wouldn't have stayed if we weren't told to wait for other seats. Ticketmaster handled the issue badly and treated us badly over the phone. I haven't bought any tickets from Ticketmaster again. No matter the show. Ticketek all the way!! Probably worth mentioning there were 4 other people this happened to. All experienced the same outcome. They were just as shattered as us.

"Interesting whole in their policies. If you buy using a UK visa, you have to have a US bank account/visa to resell. Surely this isnt right or should be pointed out at the time of purchase.
No recourse, no response to my complaint, no nothing. A two-bit shower of charlatans in my opinion.
My account is cancelled.

"I had a valid 20% off offer code at the time of purchase. I thought I had entered it correctly (offer code vs. promo code vs. voucher code; forgive me for not knowing TM's numerous "codes."). When the order was placed and I saw I was charged full price for my tix, I called Ticketmaster, thinking they could simply honor the code and reimburse my credit card the 20%.
Nope! After speaking to three different people, inc a horribly rude and unbending manager, Amanda, who had the audacity to accuse me of poor time management (being a full-time working mother at a high-stress, busy job with no time to call during YOUR business hours, as I'm taking care of my children when I'm not working), I was told that they simply couldn't and wouldn't honor the code.
Customer service? Please! We go to A LOT of concerts, Broadway shows, and other entertainment venues, and I'll be SURE to buy my tix anywhere by Ticketmaster from here on out.

"Hello fellow friends who believe in justice for the innocent, over. I bought a set of 5 tickets, 2 were allowed entry and 3 were denied. I bought for POP NYE on 12/31/14. After speaking with the event promoter. the venue and ticket master, I was able to find out some very disturbing information. To cut to the chase, Ticketmaster is at fault. Ticketmaster re-issued the 3 tickets that were denied entry to be picked up at will call and had the name changed to "Khang Pham" without my consent(the venue provided me with the details whereas Ticketmaster just admitted to an error on their side). Let me repeat the last statement. Ticketmaster, without my permission, the buyer and owner of the tickets, changed the 3 tickets to "Tickets Not Received" and had them set up to be picked up at will call under another name, "Khang Pham". It does not make sense for me to call in to cancel 3 of my 5 valid tickets as "Tickets Not Received" and to have them be picked up at will call under another name, Khang Pham.

To make matters more complicated, I posted 3 tickets on Stubhub for sale because 3 of my friends bailed on me. Stubhub refunded the tickets as they were not valid and each of the tickets refunded were issued a gift card at my expense for posting up invalid tickets. As a result of these three invalid tickets I am barred from selling tickets on Stubhub. To make matters even more frustrating all these charges were funded by the credit card I had on account which was over drafted.

I was able to receive a full refund for my 3 tickets that were denied entry from Ticketmaster. I needed a written consent from Ticketmaster stating they were at fault for me to reinstate my stubhub account but I was given the same answer. Ticket master is not responsible for third party resellers. I know you are not responsible but all the problems I have to deal with is a direct result of Ticketmaster failing. Apart from Ticketmaster offering a 50 dollar gift card for the inconvenience they would not help admit fault via written response. At the end of the day, I am simply sharing my customer experience with Ticketmaster. I am short of a stubhub account, a few hundred dollars, hours spent resolving a problem that could have been prevented, and a lack of trust in Ticketmaster. I will thing it over a few times before I commit to buying from Ticketmaster again. By the way I hope karma gets this Khang Pham and I feel bad for the agent that was scammed. I Randy the victim am signing off, over.

"I purchased tickets for the Ringling Bros. Circus, during the check out process I was offered to pre-purchased garage parking for the event. I paid $17.50 for the garage parking.

We arrived early for the circus pre-show only to discover that the parking garage was not open at that time and would not be open in time to attend the pre-show. We ended up parking a few blocks away for an additional $10 in order to take my children to the pre-show. When I contacted ticketmaster to request a refund for the unused parking ticket (due to the garage not being accessible) I was advised that they would not provide a refund since the garage would've been available for parking if we had just attended the scheduled 7:00 showing. Apparently the $17.50 they received from me for the parking ticket was worth losing my future business. In the grand scheme $17.50 isn't much, but I cannot tolerate businesses that only care about taking your money and not about the service they provide. Don't advertise parking that will not accommodate an event (the pre-show was included in the purchase ticket, not an additional purchase) or at least provide information prior to the purchase stating the garage will not be available until a specified time. Extremely unprofessional.

"Many years ago I bought tickets from Ticketmaster and the site worked great. Just recently we purchased tickets again, and much to my surprise, the task was not an easy one. I wanted to use my debit card as a credit card on the site. The site kept asking for a code when I was ready to buy. The code was not the Security Code on the back. I tried calling Ticketmaster and they were closed. It was the weekend. I tried calling Ticketmaster on Monday and they said each time that they were busy and to call again. I tried using the automated system and the robot woman could not understand the name of the event or the venue. I called my bank for the code on Monday and after talking to two people finally got the code set up. Then, finally after many days and headaches, I purchased our tickets on line. When it came time to go the event, I tried printing our tickets and didn't have our password right. I immediately clicked to reset our password and a week later we have never received an email to reset our password. This is the worst experience I have ever had on line or over the phone in trying to buy anything. I think venues that are using them are losing sales! They really need to re-evaluate how they are servicing their customers. Giving them a 1-star rating is really being generous! Thanks! "

"Overlooking the phone system designed to wind your bill up to ridiculous heights, or the lack of service when you do eventually traverse that, I have been conned by Ticketmaster.

£120 spent on tickets. Not delivered nor signed for on my end. Ticketmaster refute this, however they a) have the wrong address listed as a delivery address, and b) are claiming that someone signed with a name that doesn't belong to anybody at that address. I have checked with the residents there (it's my old address) and none of them know anything about it (they're my friends and good guys).

Now they are refusing to replace or refund the tickets, meaning I am £120 out of pocket while their pockets are lined having completely scammed me. Funnily enough, this does not seem to be an unusual complaint on here regarding ordering tickets with these pirates.

£120 might be a drop in the ocean to a company like Ticketmaster, but to normal hard-working people like us, this money could really be helpful in the run up to Christmas. I hope they're proud of themselves.

"I have been trying to contact Ticketmaster over the last 48 hours regarding some tickets I have yet to receive for a concert in less than 3 days.

In excess of 35 phone calls, 2 an hour for each hour I have been awake. Each time you get a recorded message explaining every policy taking 2 minutes, then to be told 'All of our operators are busy with other customers'.

THESE PHONE CALLS ARE CHARGEABLE!

Early this evening when I did pass this point, I waited 13 minutes, for the phone to be answered and then immediately terminated. This has cost me in excess of 3 hours of my important time, and MONEY!

They advise not to call ahead of 3 days before the show without a concert, but clearly if I left it any later I wouldn't get through! Add to this I still haven't received an email back, a Facebook or Twitter reply there seems very few ways to actually contact this organisation.

I did find a direct line online for a Ticketmaster employee and spoke to the single rudest person. 0207 980 4400. The person on the other end of the phone, who refused to give any of his details, literally told me its not his problem, that I'm wasting his time and told me to **** off! This is a representative of TICKETMASTER!

I sincerely hope that sometime soon promoters/venues and artists will realise that the customer service from this organisation is affecting their brands, jump ship to a reputable ticketing partner and Ticketmaster can fail, as it so clearly deserves to do!

"Ticketmaster...what a scam! No available tickets at **9am** (when the official sell actually starts!). They redirect you to GetMeIn (a sister company to TM) where you can buy tickets for twice the original price. What??? Shameless. Should go out of business!"

"Purchased two tickets for £10 each, the end price was £35. I did not select to purchase 'insurance' yet it forced me to do so, as well as charge me £5.50 for two pieces of paper to be delivered to my house, which could have easily been printed here at my home for no charge. Ridiculously overpriced and will not be used again. Would not recommend."

"Does anyone else think its a crime for Ticketmaster to add $12.50 on to EVERY ticket sold for $39.50? Had I known, I would not have used them but live and learn. I won t use them again. What a ripoff!"

"I've purchased tickets from many ticket distribution websites and honestly, I am quite disappointed with ticket master. I bought my tickets and chose the option to print at home. I was sent an email with a pdf pop up to print out my tickets. However, I was not connected to a printer at the time so I decided to close the pdf and use a different computer to print at a later time. Little did I know that the tickets were NOT going to be available for me to print anymore. I called in ticket master 4 times and emailed them 3 times. Every time the representative who responded or answered my phone call said I will send you another EMAIL with your ticket attachment on there. This was promised to me over 5 times. and I NEVER received a single email. When I called in again, the representative blamed that my email has issues. If my email has issues, ticket master sure didn't make it seem like a problem when they didn't hesitate to charge 200$ to my credit card for my ticket and send me a confirmation email.

Not ONLY this, I was charged my credit card twice - which caused me to buy tickets twice. which is fine, im giving a pair to my friend. BUT when I was buying online, the website clearly said ERROR and the order still went through without me knowing.

I'm sorry ticket master, but you are a huge disappointment. After 5th time of calling in, this representative told me my ticket was not available for PRINT AT HOME option. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?!?!? When I bought the tickets, there was an option for that, don't tell me now there isn't.

"I have had the WORST experience with ticketmaster. I am not one to write reviews, but in this case I will.
I bought Foster the People tickets on June 26th as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It said the tickets will arrive in 10-14 business days, which i thought was fair. Then i started getting worried once it hit the 3 week mark, because his birthday is on July 27th. So i called and they said they shipped them July 1st but with the 4th they might be delayed a day or 2 so i waited again, then i called to try and get tracking so i could see where they were -- come to find out they don't provide tracking information. THEN i emailed because i couldn't get through on the phone to try to get them expedited. i emailed stating that i wanted them expedited and asked them to call me for my Credit Card number...they respond saying i need to call them. SO i called them, the woman i spoke with gave me nothing but attitude, however, $18.50 later i finally got them shipped 2nd day air -- or so i thought. She then goes on to tell me i have to call back the next day so i can get tracking...tried calling and all i get was a busy signal literally all day long...so then i decide well i paid the $18.50 so they should be here by Weds. welp, it's now Thurs. evening and still no tickets and my boyfriends Birthday is this Sunday. Oh, but my original tickets happened to show up on monday when i had called to expedite new ones...good thing they disabled those tickets and they are now useless to me. bottom line don't pay extra to have any tickets from ticketmaster expedited, because you won't get them on time.

"Never sold on here but every time I've bought tickets on TicketMaster many times and never had any problems. I like buying from them knowing they're direct from the source. I do wish more venues would protect fans from resellers / scalpers, though."

"I purchased these three tickets because on the website it says it is a "Home Game" for New Orleans.By following all the instruction, got three tickets. However, it turns out that the game is in KY not in New Orleans, LA.

Called the customer service, 100% sure, that is your fault. Customer services and the manager says, because it is preseason, so the buyer should know that the home game on the website does not mean it happens on Pelicans home arena, New Orleans. The the buyer has the responsibility to read all the agreement on the website.

I argued it is because of the first step on the website says this is a home game. That is why I just follow all the instructions and clicking next steps.

But they are saying that this is not a misleading information but it is a misunderstanding of the buyer. After they ignored their mistake and denied everything, they insisted it is my fault totally. So, yes, it is my fault, I should not use this website at all.

Please be very careful, you need to read all the agreement carefully, do not misunderstand any words, if you want to use this website.

Do not use the email, because there is no email replies, and calling the customer service, Oh, yeah, almost forget, do prepare some emergency medicines in case a heart attack.

It is funny when I write this review, but still think it may help somebody, because what happened to me is something that will happen to you someday, period.
