"On September 17 , 2018 , I ordered a bed from the Simple Store and was informed that it would take 4-6 weeks to deliver it . After waiting for 8 weeks and not hearing one word from anyone , I tried to track the shipment . I called the shipping company , Lodeso , who could not locate the shipment and told me to call the Simple Store which I did . The service person was very friendly and nice but for some reason was unable to track the package . After calling several more times the service person finally told me that someone from Lodeso will call in a day or two to arrange delivery . Several weeks and many phone calls later , they finally call and give me a delivery window between 9 and 1 . When they finally did show up it was 2 PM ( 5 hr wait ) , the shipment was clearly damaged , There were water stains and large holes in the boxes so I refused the delivery . I then called the Simple store to inform them of the situation and was told that a manager would call me back for more details . I'm still waiting for the call ( and refund ) fuming away and still sleeping on the floor .
If you need a lot of frustration and aggravation in your life the by all means , order something from the Simple Store , you won't be disappointed ."

"Thanks to global warming, the bears which live around our neighborhood are still roaming, searching for food. It is Nov 30 2018 and they are still active, whereas in the past they have always disappeared to their caves to hibernate by mid-October. A bear must have thought one of our pier mount lights was a bird feeder and bent it and its very thick base 180 degrees on its side, making it irretrievable. Due to 6 years of light aging to the metal, both of the lights and bases needed to be replaced. I had looked at site after site for the pier mount bases needed for our lights, and only here did I find them. They shipped the day after my order, and we received them from Massachusetts down to central Virginia in two days! We didn't have to postpone our electrician's appt to install. Will be repeat customers, I'm sure! I am so pleased to have found this site! Customer service was very helpful. Highly recommend."

"Ordered furniture from them estimated delivery mid November. That passed, no emails no updates. A week later I sent an email waited 2 days for a response, said they we’re looking into it. Nine days later I get another email telling me I will not get my furniture until mid January. Absolutely rediculous! Terrible customer service. "

"I ordered a 3 drawer chest which I received promptly. The packaging was VERY damaged and so was the chest. I contacted The Simple Stores right away, sent photos of the packaging and damage. They apologized, sent a pick up request and ordered another chest. That also arrived quickly and again the packaging was very damaged as well as the chest -ugh! So again I repacked the item for pick up. I then called and asked to speak to a manager. I explained the issue, told him I really liked the chest but did not want to deal with it again. They again apologized, sent a pick up request and asked if I would try again. This time they would request a overpack from the seller. Well the chest arrived a few days later in perfect condition and packaged like it should have been all along. It really is a shame that the seller (Hillsdale) does not see the value in packaging their product better (the item comes directly from Hillsdale) not The Simple Store. It would cost less and they would have happier customers. This is a heavy piece of furniture that they put in a thin moving box material!! The Simple Stores handled this whole process very professionally and in the end I really like the product. I would use them again in the future."
