"Sales Rep took an order for three identical chairs and processed my PayPal payment immediately. Said it would take 14 - 21 business days for me to receive. I periodically tracked the order on their website and in the status, it stated "In Production." Almost one month of waiting, I contacted the vendor to inquire about delivery date. Customer Service Rep called the manufacturer and learned the item was no longer available. They had been sitting on my order and payment in full, for a month. Customer Service Rep tried to offer me an "upgrade" presented by the manufacturer, but the upgrade actually had a MSRP lower than the original price of the item I ordered. It took multiple follow up phone calls demanding my PayPal refund before they finally processed it. A week later, the Theater Seat Store is STILL showing the item I purchased as "DELIVERS IN 14 to 21 BUSINESS DAYS" despite my calling it to their attention. Buyers beware!!! DO NOT trust the order status on their on line tracking system and continue to follow up until you receive your order. I personally will NEVER order from them again. They should have paid me interest for the time they were holding on to my payment for furniture that wasn't even being built."

"DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered theater seats that were told had shipped. Every day for a week I waited and then finally found out they were backordered! They said they'd send me an "upgrade" set of seats for no additional cost. When they arrived they were USED seats that someone had returned....stains, scratches, no bolts to connect the pieces, used boxes/packaging etc. UNBELIEVABLE. I declined the delivery and then still had to wait 2 weeks for a refund. Totally unprofessional in the handling of everything. Find somewhere else to buy from!"

"I ordered a home theater seating setup for my home for right around 3K and was told it would take 6-8 weeks and I needed to pay 50% up front. I agreed to there terms and around the second week of January I called and asked for a status of my order I was told it would be another 6-8 weeks. I called again in mid February and asked for a status and I was told another four weeks at which point I canceled my order. It has been 8 days since I cancelled my order and I have not received a refund and I am going to escalate it to the credit card company to force a refund. "

"I ordered 4 seats priced at $3000 on Nov. 3. I was asked to pay $500 to "hold the price". I then paid the $2500 balance on 11/17. In both transactions, my credit card was charged immediately. I was told that the seats would ship from the warehouse in TX in a few days. I called customer service on 11/20 was given a pro number and told that the seats would ship that day. Same story on 11/21 and 11/24. Now it is 11/25 and I am currently on hold with customer service waiting to hear what the "new" ship date is. I have also spoken with the carrier Manna which told me that they have a request to ship the seats but have not received a definite pick up order from the warehouse in Texas. Manna can't help me until they get the pick up order.I have been on hold the entire time that I have been writing this. I would not recommend that anyone buy from Theater Seat Store. If you do, "buyer beware". If they make this right, I will write another review with the results."

"I ordered 8 seats for my new home theatre in May of 2014. My ordering experience was positive as I was able to find the product I wanted and the order entry person I spoke with was professional and helpful. Unfortunately, after I received my seats the experience has been horrible. One of the seats I received broke within a couple of months (the arm rest completed detached from the chair). Luckily (or so I thought), I purchased the full protection on the chairs. It has been almost 2 months since I initially placed my service call about the broken chair and I am no closer to getting the chair fixed or replaced than the day I called. After my initial call, I was told a technician would be calling me to schedule a time to look at the chair. After waiting almost 2 weeks I had to follow up again and was given the technician's contact information. It took another 2 weeks of follow up and badgering to finaly get the technican to come by (3rd party company). When he finally showed he was kind enough to show me where the product was defective and talked me through why he felt a repair would not work. His recommendation was to get a replacement chair since the problem was so severe. Since his visit, however, I have been unable to get any action from Theatreseatstore. Each time I call I speak with a different support person and they politely tell me that some action is pending and someone will be contacting me shortly (which they never do). Today, was my 4th follow up call after the technician's visit and still no progress. It has been over two months since my chair broke and will probably be at least 2 or 3 more before I get it fixed or replaced. I strongly urge anyone looking to invest any money in a home theatre to avoid this company. "

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! PRODUCT IS GOOD, BUT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, GET READY FOR THE WORST EXPERIENCE TRYING TO GET IT FIXED!!!! ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS SINCE I RECIEVED MY SEATS AND THEY STILL DON'T RECLINE, NO FOLLOW UP. I WOULD RATHER PULL MY TEETH OUT ONE BY ONE THAN DEAL WITH THESE HORRIBLE SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS AT THIS PLACE. "

"I ordered brown palliser bullitt theater seating and decided within 24 hours that black would be better so I changed my order. The rep said no problem and that they would be black . called them back a couple days later to confirm that in fact the seats were ordered in black and they said that the order was for black. called even another time about 2 weeks in to assure that they were in fact going to be black and again was assured that they were ordered as black and everything was right with the order.fast forward to several weeks past the delivery date and they delivered brown leather seats. told the shipper to remove them from my house because they were the wrong color and called the store and after 3 times calling to verify that the order was correct and talking to the same rep twice he called me a liar and said they shipped what I ordered. after much and I mean much calories spent to get the correct order and another month and a half+. the correct seats arrived. within a month the tray tables split apart. So I called them and they shipped out some more. a couple of months later they split apart (held together by 2 sided foam tape) very cheap. and they shipped me out some more. wrong post style so they shipped me out some more . they split apart a couple of months later so they shipped me out some more. (I'm not even kidding about this) So I finally asked them if they had a new style that wouldnt fall apart and they said they did and that the manufacturer no longer made the brown birds eye tables that i had and they now only made a buff black one. I said oh well and told them to ship me them and its now been 6 months, over 8 phone calls and several combined hours on hold etc.. no tables . Just got off the phone with them again and the same story I've heard for 6 months came out of them again "the trays were ordered and we will call the manufacturer to find out why there's been a delay and give you a call back within 24 hours to let you know whats going on." I have never gotten that call.EVER!! Do yourself a favor and save yourself many hours of frustration and find another company to deal with these guys are a total joke. Oh and by the way the lighted cup holder /up/down controller on the arm went bad within a year as well. Thank God I had the 5 year warranty for all this. Good luck if you decide to order from these guys .YOUR GONNA NEED IT!"

"I ordered four Palliser theater seats after discussing options online and on the phone with a sales rep. There were some glitches, such as a delay in shipping and one of four trays missing on delivery, but Tom, the sales person I worked with, stuck with me throughout the process and was extremely responsive and helpful. I told him about an apparent delay of 1 month beyond the promised shipping date. He worked on it and was able to get everything delivered on time. He took care of the missing tray as well. As a result, everything worked out to my satisfaction in the end. "

"100% recommend this site!

This is the only site I would go to for anything for my home theater. I was putting my home theater together and I went to a different site at first. Boy, do I regret that now! These guys just messed up my orders! If it wasn’t one thing it was another – at one point they had said I was “out” of the house when I was clearly at home (lights on, TV blasting) and I had just about enough. I called them and demanded they return my money and cancel my order. So I went to another site – this site – and thought I’d try to get my order here. I went here and they had almost everything I needed. Also, I found they had these special seats for lower back support – I just had to try these as I have back problems from working construction when I was younger. Anyway I order the seats I wanted first and am I glad! These seats are excellent! I’ve ordered everything else through them as well and I am really a satisfied customer!

Tip: Go to the price match section and if you do find anything there that’s cheaper, go ahead and call them for a discount! It takes longer than shopping online but worth it to save a few extra bucks!

"I ordered from Theater Seat Store based on a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately, despite spending thousands of dollars with their company, I was treated horribly. My seats arrived 2 weeks later then the estimated delivery. I received the incorrect seats and worst of all, I was called a liar and was completely mistreated.

I placed my order through a sales rep on their sales phone line. I had a specific seat layout for my room and was very clear on the configuration I needed. I had been planning this theater room for months. I even have 3d renderings of the seat layout!

After completing my order, the sales rep sent me a order confirmation. The confirmation did not specify the configuration of the seats. When my seats arrived (2 weeks late), they were not what I ordered. I called the customer service line and things really went down hill.

I told the first rep what I had ordered and she said I was lying according to the order form. She then bounced me to another rep. This guy kept telling me that he would correct the problem. He dragged this out for weeks. Finally he told me that I was lying about what I ordered and his company would not replace the seat unless I paid a 20% restocking fee.

Don't risk your money, avoid this site.
